So uh

read my QT for the full stupid sordid story, but I was trying to faketell asmo as Oracle because I thought his clown soft was real and I was hoping they'd failsoup him as Oracle.

(In fact if I hadn't bought the clown soft I'd probably have judged him >_>)

I had him as Oracle or scum from the doomsaying, but then the way Cobalt defended him was like "okay there's zero chance Cobalt does this without being pied"

apparently there isn't :V

@Vaimes, @Gemma etc. the context I was referring to (especially in light of responding to Cobalts’ posts) was that I shifted from attack mode (which were me hitting out at people scum reading Newcomb, primarily) to trying to light prod people off of voting him when he became a leading/nearly lead lump/Lynch, in the back half of the day.

@Cobalt, you kept commenting about me following Newcomb around (which I disagreed with) but idk why you never seemed to connect that with newcomb’s claim, which is why I was scum reading you late

 

Stanari has a really nice chart in her QT that points out Waco as the obvious acolyte on the day he got lynched using a SHC-type method, btw.

Other things:
- I have now been correct about Vaimes scumreads twice in a row and then talked out of it by others. (To be fair in this one he put in a really good showing both D1 and near the end of the Judge day which probably would have been enough by itself, but still). Never Again, a phrase which here means "I'm gon' mislynch him as town" (probably because he's proven an ability to imitate his towngame effectively in this one)
- Unsure how bad that claim was, I was basically afraid of "dC/Waco mislynches to scum victory" world which I feel like was pretty high probability >_>. It seems to have worked out this game but it could easily have gone the other way...I think asmo gets most of the credit for that by successfully bouncing the soup. Not Judging him and proposing we lynch shadow are probably the only two things I did correctly this game.
- Vaimes being scum means I didn't throw the game by switching to Waco! Hooray!
- I have no fucking idea how tinyhunt works and it shows :V

anyway I dunno, I just had a lot of trouble getting into this game after the initial rough start. I think all the scum played really well (Note to self - Gemma's ability to fake a town tone is fucking scary) and mostly got screwed by mechanics (one of them getting saddled with lump, two of the mislynches getting out of it with role shit, a soup whiff) and this kind of shows off the other half of what I find kinda meh about anticlaim games (i.e. scum HAS to succeed at the anticlaim or town power just causes a blowout)

oh, looks like I won the town QT count competition, too :V

 

Yeah, the amount of town power and stuff going on I guess is balanced by the no flips, but overall I just felt like this setup is not for me.

Also, fwiw (and I said this in my QT as well) I wouldn’t have campaigned for lump as town for the exact reason I gave, I’m selfish and prefer a check on someone else.
