Alright. The survey technically has another day before it's done, but the results thus far more or less speak for themselves. DLP wants action-driven fics with a focus on character first and foremost.

The question we must ask ourselves, then, is how do we best get a fuckton of glorious fics featuring just that into WBA as promptly as possible? Well, there's a saying about if you want something done right.

I simply propose all of those who are interested in writing Dresden Files fics, or in helping, group up and start plotting and writing. I guess the question that remains is: Who's in? ^^

I'm outlining character arcs and listening through Fool Moon my own story. As for the Round Robin, I'm totally game. Just never done one before. So... Anyone got a suggestion for a starting point? ^^

I would just suggest a prompt, and do it similar to the old school TGYH, but with a more serious outcome. We're aiming for serious pieces, where as most TGYH had a more humor like bent.

Alrighty. @Zombie, @AlbusPHolmes, @Zenzao, @LittleChicago. Let's get this shit rolling. Discussed this lightly in IRC and we figured we'd set up some sorta schedule. One author writes, next hops in. If you're terribly busy that day or whatever, push it to the next person on the list and hop down to the end of the line. Each segment should be small 1k-ish words, so it can be done quickly.

That leaves the question of our starting point and the vague direction we're going in. Obviously we don't want to be too strict and limit our author's creativity, but on the other hand, we want at least some cosistency. So!!! Drop a prompt.

I personally suggest the story starts off with Warden!Dresden, a few co-workers and major monument of some sort falling to smouldering ruin in the background.

Group One (In no specific order just yet):

    Zeelthor
    Zenzao
    Zombie
    LittleChicago
    AlbusPHolmes

I watched the bridge finish its descent into the river and nodded to myself. I glanced at Ramirez. "Well," I said, "another job well done."

Fabulous. Does anyone volunteer as tribute to write the first entry? Or for any other part of the rotation?

    ... Seriously? Nothing? Sheesh.

I can't during this week. Work has exploded in my face like a balloon full of shaving cream, and I'm barely above water. I can step up next week sometime, if no one wants to gets the ball rolling before then.

Alright. I'll get us rolling for the first bit. Was going to write it today but stuff got in the way. I'll get started tomorrow. For the rest of ya, it might be a good idea to let the group know when and how you'll be able to write so we'll get a decent schedule roughly outlined.

Interesting start. I'm going to have to take a pass on picking up the torch for part two. I don't recognize the other (wardens?) who appeared at the end, and nothing is coming to mind for how to address Black Court vamps in a hurry.
