Jumping the gun on this one a bit since the trailer doesn't really tell us anything, but still. Hype train. I've been replaying the crap out of Skyrim lately anyway.

Some in the lore community believe TES VI could take place in the entirety of the Iliac Bay, which is Hammerfell and High Rock. TES II, Dagerfall, took place there (though not the entirety of High Rock and Hammerfell).

While some believe Bethesda will be bighting off more than they can chew by featuring two whole provinces, I could see it working if they invest enough time into it.

So hard to side with the Empire just for this reason, but ultimately I can’t bring myself to side against Order.

If we're lucky we'll get to see the return of the Sword-Singers, assuming this is High Rock + Hammerfell like people are predicting. The lore surrounding them is awesome and I'd love to see the Redguard get some attention.

If sword singers came back they'd just sink another continent playing with knives again.

Eh, it'd probably go the way of the Thu'um and have the gameplay for Sword-Singing be heavily nerfed compared to the lore. Tongues were like one man armies in the lore, even more so than your typical ES protagonist is.

Fuck yes. Hype train! And lmao, that really was nothing but a confirmation that it's coming, but I'll gladly take it.

Thankfully it wasn't Black Marsh. Valenwood would have been my personal preference, but High Rock is still plenty cool, and I never played Daggerfall, so it'll be all fresh to me. Well, I imagine it'll be fresh even to people who started with Arena.

I really hope we see a return to Oblivion style story-based quests instead of Skyrim's radiant dungeons. Skyrim had a fantastic overworld, but the impact of that was sabotaged by the element of randomisation. I can't say I'm overly fond of the Redguard lore. Or Akaviri. I find it rather tiresome, especially because there seems to be so much fanwank over it. Or maybe I'm just being racist again.

Maybe this one will actually have a decent combat system. Eh, who am I kidding?

    Point and slash, almost guaranteed.

That said, they are having to make a new engine from the ground up for this one; Skyrim was at the very limits of what the last engine could handle so we may see some innovation in that route.

I wouldn't mind something similar to the combat system in Kingdom Come Deliverance. A lot of people didn't like it, but I thought it was a great take on combat from a sword swinging perspective.
