It's a Fate Stay Night / Familiar of Zero crossover. Honestly, the summary just made me want to read what kind of writing this guy is producing, and I was pleasantly surprised. The author is not afraid to take deviations immediately from the story and events are happening quickly. It's humorous merely because it's Gilgamesh that gets summoned, and is just great. 5/5 from me.

Although, I'm not sure if the rating is a bit higher because of my love for F/SN

Gilgamesh runs on crazy-awesome, and this is reflected in the story. Technically sound and not just another canon rehash.

4/5 with definite room to move up to 5/5 if it continues being this good in later chapters.

As KaiDASH said, any story with Gilgamesh is automatically epic, and this one more than most, but I think it's a little too early to declare it a 5/5. The story hasn't progressed enough. That said, it certainly bears watching in the future. Nice find.

Gilgamesh is boss. He's one of my favorite characters in any fandom and to see him smack down everyone around him with nothing but arrogance, wit and the occasional pointy object is truly a guilty pleasure.

And with only 2 chapters so far that is all I would rate this fic as; a very well written guilty pleasure. That is sure to change as more chapters are released and I'll be eagerly awaiting them, though I do hope it doesn't follow in anywhere near the same vein as Gabriel Blessing's - A Hill of Swords.

Ugh, as much as I enjoyed Hill of Swords, the thing that irked me about that fic is that is follows canon's events to the letter, despite Shirou being the protagonist. So far though, I think Gilgamesh's personality is absurd and awesome enough that we can be assured that it won't happen. (Hopefully?)

I have to admit that I actually did laugh out loud for a short burst, when I read about the Saber body pillow.

I will reserve a rating for now, but what it does have, definitely did not feel like a waste of time to read.

    Definitely pretty good so far.

It sounds like Icura knows enough about The Familiar of Zero 'verse to assemble a decent plot.

I was waiting for a few more chapters before reccing this, but what's done is done. It's pretty good and I have high hopes for it in the future. 4/5

For some reason, this reminded me of the "You chop your balls off and die?" part of Like A Boss.

It's not a surprise and not a coincidence. At the end of the chapter the author himself links to this thread.

I knew it wasn't a coincidence - I saw this story back when it was on its first post on SpaceBattles. I was just commenting on it.
