Well, this sumabitch is live as a Kindle ebook:

Mysterious, Monstrous, Metropolitan - A DLP Anthology

Eighteen awesome tales of urban fantasy!

Discover the magic hiding in Indian slums, join the last of humanity on a submarine after the zombie apocalypse, and learn the true cost of mystical power in the modern world. Enter worlds hidden in mirrors, outrun a creature from beyond time, and battle the forces of Hell in the Floating Fortress of Doom.

This anthology is bursting with stories about monsters, demons, creatures without name, and good old fashioned human ferocity.

Mysterious, Monstrous, Metropolitan contains work from 18 strong voices - authors new and seasoned and who see the urban areas of the world not as safe haven from the unexplained and the strange, but as concrete jungles where magic and monsters can thrive!

    Praise for DLP Anthology #1:

    4.9/5 on Amazon Reviews.

"A truly excellent collection of stories. I would happily recommend any one of them individually, but in a single volume? A definite buy for the discerning short-story reader. Whether for bedtime reading, or those long, boring train journeys, these wonderfully written characters will delight your inner anti-hero and leave you wanting for more."

"One of the best compliations of short stories I have read. Was blown away by the amazing variety of settings below the overarching theme. Definitely worth a buy and read!"

"There lies the major problem with this otherwise well-put-together anthology: as an assembly of work by mostly unpublished authors, I've been limited in my ability to further read work from them. Hopefully, either a second anthology or longer published works will correct this error."

HERE'S THE LINK - 18 STORIES ALL FOR THE LOW, LOW COST OF TREE-FITY!

Thanks again to all the contributors and the community as a whole for seeing this through! First time was a trick, second time adds depth, third will count for all!

Nice - what's the status on getting all the authors names in there?

Welp, oddly, I bought it but can't manage to make it open on any device I own. All my other books work, so it's something about this one that isn't working for me. Lame.

Huh. I bought it on Kindle for ipad, and Galaxy S4 and no concerns. Eager to hear if anyone has similar issues. Try heading into your Amazon settings, Zennith, and resend the file to your device.

Just bought a copy and reading it in Cloud now. Great work, everyone!

Couple of error's in my story; instead of continuous paragraphs, each break into a new one.

Yes, this will happen when the paperback goes live. For some reason, Kindle only allows ten contributors, while the paperback allows as many as needed. So when the paperback goes up and Amazon links the two together, everybody's name gets added to the listing!

I really, really want to get this one, but somehow it's not available for my country (Asia and Pacific Region). Is there another way for me to buy it, Joe?

Oh, really? How are things Amazon-wise in Malaysia usually? I'll investigate alternate options and alternate formats.

Just updated a file fixing a few issues that were pointed out to me, so if anyone buys it in the next day or two let me know, specifically, how the Table of Contents looks. Cheers.

Paperback and hardcover books are available, although the price is always high. I'm not sure about the ebooks, though, because I've never actually tried buying one from my Kindle before. Moreover, here, we usually buy ebooks through iBook Store.

So, next step is reviews - everyone who reads through this bad boy, toss down a couple reviews to prime the pump and spark some interest. Let's get this going!

Can't remember -- do authors get an e-book copy along with the paperback? I wouldn't mind reading the other stories.

I believe that's what my contract says, but I still went ahead and bought one anyway so I could finally read our stories again -- okay, my own first and foremost - but yeah. And every little bit helps.

    You get nothing! NOTHING!

Yeah I'll send through a PDF and .mobi file soon. Just making sure no glaring obvious mistakes now that the thing is live!

When I had initially searched for the anthology on Amazon the price indicated on it was $3.50. But on purchase the price listed is $5.50. Is it priced differently because of the region?
