The title is self explanatory, I believe.

This can include both adaptations of existing works of fiction and original ideas you created.

Adaptations I'd like to see are:

    1. A good Casper the Friendly Ghost animated movie. Frozen-style animation. I loved the Casper cartoon when I was a child and I'd like to see him return.

    2. American McGee's Alice live action movie. R-Rated. Just please.

    3. Wolfenstein HBO Drama TV series. Based on the Return to Castle Wolfenstein 2001 video game.

    4. Worldwar: In the Balance live action movie. Lizard aliens from Tau Ceti invade Earth in 1942 during World War II, bringing the war to a halt. How fucking awesome is that?

Dresden Files movies. Though I cringe at how bad the CGI could get if somebody doesn't tighten the script.

All my ideas should be adapted as movies and TV shows. Obviously. :)

    As for not my creations:

    1. Wiedźmin/Witcher as a HBO series.

    2. Conan as a Starz series.

    3. Superior as a movie.

    4. Uber as HBO series.

Abhorsen - Old Kingdom. God, I'd watch the hell out of it. HBO or maybe AMC(their dead are pretty awesome).

Quake Arena - in the fashion of death match a'la Mortal Combat. Maybe between inmates who get one last chance at freedom.

I may get flamed for this but I'd really like Seinen Anime adaptation of Harry Potter.

Dresden should be done as TV movies with three or four of them being produced every year.

A Mistborn film series would be epic. Stormlight Archive is perhaps better suited to tv than film. And I'd love to see a good of Hal Duncan's books,Vellum and Ink. They just wouldn't work on film though, imo. Or tv.

    Hmm, where to begin...

Okay, from most likely to pipe dreams:

    1. A Magic: The Gathering film focusing on 'The Brothers' War' by Jeff Grubb. Obvious jump off point, special effects would likely stick to practical effects given the lack of heavy magic, and the script would follow a reasonably conventional arc. And since they're making a M:tG movie, I can only hope this is the route they're taking...

    2. Rebooting The Sword of Truth from a TV series to TV movies. Don't get me wrong, there are moments of the TV show I actually thought were pretty damn solid, but there was way too much padding in that mess, when sticking closer to the original stories could have worked for at least six entries (ending at Faith Of The Fallen - nobody wants to see Naked Empire on TV).

    3. I'd love to see the Dragonlance Chronicles/Legends trilogies adapted for big-budget TV, maybe HBO.

    4. The Dresden Files done as a series of TV movies or as self-contained entries like Sherlock.

    5. A series of big budget, live-action Horus Heresy movies. This is such an incredible pipe-dream given the hard R required with such a series and the insane special effects, but goddamn it, that could be so glorious...

    1) Dresden Files done by HBO or FX.

    2) Fallout as a mini series or two might be interesting. I'd love to read more about the Capital Wasteland or life in post nuclear California.

    3) A network TV show based on the Aurors during the first Voldemort war would be awesome.

This so much. I loved that series. Maybe History channel would be interested in adapting one of his other alternate history books like the Southern Victory series.

    Definitely. Also:

A Dresden Files series. HBO would be good, but NBC did a pretty good job with Grimm.

A Lucifer miniseries. I love that Magnificent Bastard. If David Bowie was young...

An animated special of Calvin and Hobbes with Bill Watterson leading it. I would cry.

TV Show based on Worm. Focusing especially on the S9 and Warlord arcs because those are street level but still tons of fun and fast-paced.

Post Deathly Hallows Harry Potter TV show focused on the Aurors.

This! So much this. It'd be awesome, unfortunately, all we'll get in the future is another Tekken movie/animation...:facepalm

I'd really like to see a Metal Gear adaptation. I think they'd have to cut out too much to fit them into two or two and half hour movies, but a TV series could probably fit each game into a season. I think that's unlikely though, since I heard they're still trying to make a movie out of it.

A Witcher series would be good too. Hell they already had a Witcher TV show in Poland, though I heard it was shitty. I'd much rather have a Witcher show than fucking A Song of Ice and Fire shit.

It was horrifyingly bad. Nobody should even mention its existence. I should know, I saw it on tv when it first aired.

I'd be okay with pretty much any era mtg product, as long as it doesn't including fucking jace as the posterboy. Brother's era would be sweet, but I doubt they will do anything involving pre-revisionist canon due to power level concerns.

Having dresden files given the HBO treatment like game of thrones would be sweet. Not sure how well 15+ seasons would work out, given 1 book per season. That being said, southern vampire mysteries has close to that many books, so they went off on a tangent and did their own thing to condense them down to 7. I could see dresden getting the sherlock treatment instead and just getting a few 1.5 hour long episodes.

I think an auror crimesolving show would be sweet as well. I've been on a huge kick of that stuff recently (castle, sherlock, elementary). It doesn't have to involve harry, but it probably will to get as much viewers as possible.

I wouldn't mind a warcraft movie that isn't destined to suck, one that preferably isn't biased towards humans (not saying the movie is). There are a lot of compelling characters, and most of them tend to be horde, or badguys.

Ever heard about Uwe Boll? Let's pray he never gets his hands on this franchise.

You don't have any faith in a currently filmed Warcraft movie? Duncan Jones is a quite good director in my opinion.

As much as the joke is made that Pacific Rim is Neon Genesis, I'd love to see a serious take on the series in the form of a Live Action movie or three.
