Given the generous time frame, I have an idea for this one. Jotted down a quick 800 words as soon as I saw the thread, actually. One of those ideas that grips like a vice, with a squirt of lemon juice, and won't let go until you climax, you know.

How do we go about story feedback? Post in WbA, even given the mild plagiarism troubles?

 

I think, perhaps, a group would be best. With membership limited to participants only. We post there for feedback among ourselves.

 

Group sounds like the best way to go. That way we can have a clear idea on who actually intends to participate and as the time approaches, help out whoever is lagging behind.

 

Group is good. If one does not exist when I get home I'll make it.

My entry will be somewhat less ambitious. I've a decent start (~1k words of notes, about twice that in first-draft prose; the target is 10-15k words).

 

Remind me, and I'll do a reading of one of the entries and stick it up on the web. Maximum hype must be achieved!

While I missed the deadline on this (by the better part of a year--holy necro, Batman!), I thought I'd drop a link to this story since it was inspired by this thread.

Perhaps for this next year we might consider choosing an obscure pairing as a theme for the year?
