Monty Python and the Holy Grail edges out Blade Runner, Tron, Return of the Jedi, and Dead Poet's Society as my all time fave.

I know it's not a masterpiece but Kill Bill 1&2 was that for me.

Also Mummy series and the Jurassic Park Trilogy.

The Lord of the Rings for the feels.

Tropic Thunder "Never go full retard."

The Lego Movie, because it's (still) unique.

Black Hawk Down and recently John Wick in the action department.

Hard to pick between Scarface and Godfather 2, so I'll pick neither and go with Serenity.

I don't know if I could pick a definite favourite, but the films I've never gotten sick of watching:
Shrek (still finding it hilarious years on. And the singular sequel isn't too bad).
LOTR trilogy (extended edition, back to back. Because anything else is just weak).
Sean of the Dead (so many times at sleepovers in my teens).
Jurassic Park (the music man. Also dinosaurs).

It's impossible to choose just one, so I'd pick The Lord of the Rings -trilogy, Silens of the Lambs, The Dark Knight and Amélie as my favourites.

    Naming one is always impossible.

Probably Spirited Away for its beauty, music, and storyline. I remember watching it in Cantonese dub before the Japanese version, and let me tell you: the way they call Haku's name sounds badass, because Cantonese intonations are so dramatic. That's probably why a lot of Chinese movies sound better in Canto rather than Mandarin.

Red Cliff, Part I was a fantastic war epic. Kill Bill, Part I was great as well for its anime sequence and House of Blue Leaves showdown.

LOTR, of course, is a classic.

    Nobody's Fool

with Paul Newman and a few other great actors. A low key film without much plot but it's one I can always watch again without getting bored. It's all about the characters and their quirks.
