I liked it tbh. It was a nice change of pace seeing Harry from an outside perspective. I also got the sense that the magical power up she got is going to have increasingly severe side effects on her.

 

The Illuminati conversations have some of the most important paces of conversation in them, you get to see what is behind the scenes and it promotes thought by trying to find out what is happening and how the fic differed from canon. I think the author really took a logical approach to how things might differ from cannon and what could cause these diversions. The idea that Dumbledore wasn't dead goes back, well at least for my initial inference was in chapter 27 where snape, or at least we think its snape talking at this point, says "and you have MANY GREAT IDEAS" that kind of sealed it for me, I had been assuming, up till that point, just off the character that was the strategy professor -is this a new character the author created or does he serve another purpose- as well as the Illuminati meetings. Another thing just want to point out is that this unknown character that is talking, with what we assume to be snape before we find out it is snape, is very familiar with snape and talks as if they had colluding together for a very long time. You have to ask yourself, do you think Moody would be this person and in this position with snape, it just didn't make sense for it to be anyone but Dumbledore.

 

Very enjoyable, I think it is carried by the theme more than anything else but none the less definitely worth readying. 5/5.

 

While I like this fic, it seems more of a guillty pleasure fic rather than anything worth while. Premise is a bit ridiculous, but not too bad that the fic is unreadable.

Too convoluted / long between updates, I lost the thread of the story.

 

Used to be about a month between updates (which worked out nicely), so hopefully it'll return to that. Skimming the previous one helped place myself though.

So has Draco it seems has been using the diary Horcrux and quite possibly taken over for good.

 

A bit heavy on the diary foreshadowing if it isn't a red herring.

It wasn't. Given how Malfoy insists Tracey write what her feelings are, it's pretty clear this is Voldemort's diary.

Also, I'm kind of curious what prompted the change in Voldemort, i.e. more sane. We had a few chapters where he talks with Pettigrew, and in the last one he mentioned: "When I return, the world will not fear me."

Was this him just being delusional?

Also, he seems to have discovered that Harry's a Horcrux.

 

Tracey actually wrote on a piece of parchment she took out, not a journal (or anything Draco gave her).

 

Sorry, should have been more clearer in my previous post. I didn't mean to say that she was writing in Riddle's diary right then, given that it's stated explicitly she's pulling out a parchment from her bag. I have no idea if she'll end up getting to write in TMR's diary at all, or how that would even happen, I was just talking how it made more and more sense that Malfoy's change was beget by him getting the diary. How he got it though? No idea.

 

I'm pretty happy we get another Task now. This seems like a good setup for solid action. Harry not being a great flyer is a cool twist on canon.

Its cool to see this being updated regularly, because theres a lot of plotlines i want resolved.

 

So is Trow Dumbledore then? It's...not really unexpected actually. The action of the next task should be good.

 

Trow being dumbledore was essentially revealed after trows duel.

 

I'm pretty sure Trow being Dumbledore has been hinted since Severus accused him of making a horcrux just as Voldemort did. As per the recent chapters themselves, it has been so long that I couldn't grasp the story even reading the last published chapter and I'm not sure I want to reread the whole thing, again.

 

Can't recall what it is that made me think so, but I remember thinking that Draco had been replaced somehow by the guy from that random interlude. Diary possession might be a bit more likely, but it seemed odd how drastically he changed.

 

I'm gonna have to ignore the rest of this and reread it all in one go. Too many convoluted things.

 

I'm pretty sure we had an interlude or something where we saw Draco pick a small black book from his father's library, hence the diary possession theory.

 

Just found this and tried to read it 2/5. The premise is okay but the details are far to unrealistic. Why would people be okay with snnape deciding to turn a THE major educational system in country into some kind of battle camp.
Just no. I'm not buying it
