    Plsno. This is a rather bad fic, where Issei gets super OP really quickly (Even worse than Canon), makes Naruto super edgy and MAXIMUM CHAOS while being pretty much entirely immortal, Issei's been stuck a loop where the world ends over and over again within a few days of his powers activating. This one, at least, is interesting, though I'm hesitant on it, since it's the same author as the fic above.

    I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The best way to make Sakura relevant, and keep pace with Naruto and Sasuke is to follow through on her whole Ogre King Theme. We got bits of it from her learning tsunade's Super Strength technique in canon, but there are other ways to go about it.     Kakashi is stated to have relatively average chakra reserves....for a jonin. However, it's best to keep in mind the statement was made back during the Wave Arc, when Kishimoto had yet to settle on just exactly how Chakra worked. His explanation from the beginning of the series, then during the Chunin exams, and then how it seemed to work in part 2 all seemed a bit different.     And to be fair, his starting character concept actually makes for a decent protagonist. 'My Family Was Murdered, I Must Now Avenge Them' is literally the plot of how many stories? Even leading into all of the revelations and shit behind the massacre, Sasuke's plot line makes for an interesting tale of it's own. Or it would have, if Orochimaru hadn't been a shitstain and Sasuke hadn't gone off the frickin' deep end.

    Eh, Better Left Unsaid is great. Maybe not the best naruto fic, and definitely not up there with the 'True' Greats, but it's definitely one of his better fics and one of the better fics in the fandom.     I don't know about Evil/Assasin like, but I can give you a few fics that are a bit darker. Most are probably dead, though. Warning that most are old and may not have aged too well. Myoushuu No Fuuin is great. Naruto is a bit deceptive, is more of a pickpocket and was basically a street urchin. Hasn't updated in a long time though, so that's a minus.     Naruto....Naruto is an idiot, but he isn't dumb. He's perfectly capable of understanding things and solving problems, he just has a very narroow drive, and, oddly, a bit of a slackerish attitude. He'd rather learn the things that actually interest him, instead of the things others say are necessary knowledge. His interests just lie in the more physical and practical.     I honestly can't take self-inserts seriously. The idea is just so stupid and contrived. I don't want to read about the damn author writing some kind of bizarre wish-fulfillment, no matter how well written. I want to read about the main character(s) I actually care about. Can OC's be interesting? Sure, but they should never supplant, or regularly outshine the MC.

    Feels? Honestly, most of the fics that elicited any emotion other than amusement at the comedy were one-shots that I can't remember the name of. What few i do remember are probably well known. (20 Times Uzumaki Naruto didn't die, etc) I think Blind Stars of Fortune maybe kind of made me sad a couple times? Worth Dying For had it's moments, too. The only other fics with that kind of impact are those written by people on DLP, such as Shezza's LiKA, or Nauro's SMTG, or Roarian's fic, etc....

    Signs is kind of technically a bloodline fic. Any fic where Naruto can use the Uzumaki Chains can probably be counted, too. New Perspective was...alright. Not the best, and abandoned, i think, but it wasn't too bad. plus, Fem!Sasuke. And The Melt is still a classic. Aside from that, yeah, not many good Bloodline!Naruto fics, though the idea itself isn't inherently bad.

    Depending on how you consider it, Gaara's Sand might be most people's fix for some Earth Element Loving. I know it's usually considered Earth/Wind, but Sand is Sand is Sand. It's like saying Ice isn't Water. I mean, fics where Naruto has sand manipulation aren't all that common, but I don't think they were too rare either.

    Urgh. I have to agree with TvTropes here, discussion about who the Strongest Hokage is is pointless. A good argument can be made for all of them, depending on how you define 'Strongest.' In the end, power-levels got so out of hand and so hard to keep track of, it's almost as confusing to figure out as the damn timeline.

    Kenichi's Naruto one isn't too bad, but honestly, Naruto The Marine suffers from A) not being all that far along plot wise, and B) Being Abandoned. At least Shinobi of The High Seas is still going. Really, One Piece as a whole is a fandom that needs better quality fics. Maybe one day, I'll write my own Naruto/OP fic.

    Err, from a brief look, there's Amalgam: A FSN/Exalted crossover. I don't know anything about exalted but Shirou is apparently something called a Solar of w/e the hell the dawn caste is. Samhain: Might be a Naruto/FSN crossover. I really only skimmed and picked up some key words - There's Hotaru, from that Tsuchigumo filler arc, i think and naruto seems to either have a copy of Gae Bolg or Shirou's Ability to Trace. I've honestly got no idea what Box Cutter is about.

    If that's how you define "Quality," then sure. Of course, I've always defined it as "Better than average," of which most of these are not, and quite a few even less than average. Then again, "Quality," is relative depending on what's being measured against what, of which was never discerned. So really, either of us could be right. EDIT: As far as Rusty's naruto fic goes, I'm sure most of us would rather he update Ectomancer than that.

    Immortal Naruto that's not a crossover? Hrmm, I think I vaguely recall reading something like that, years ago. It was only a one-shot, or a Multi-shot, but it had Naruto outliving his friends, and eventually the shinobi system altogether. If I remember right, at one point he just gets tired of it all, and sits down outside of a small villages wall and does nothing but sit there for like a century. The people of the village start to assume he's just a weird statue, after a couple generations...

    Oh yes, I forgot to put in the Bullet Point/Star about how Minato was at "Dumbles," level of Manipulation. Kushina was mildly better, but would be the typical sycophantic McGonagall in that comparison. (Which does have it's own problems) Naruto isn't super powered in that, but is still doing some canon re-hash, if in new ways. As far as Iga Naruto goes, it's totally a Guilty Pleasure for me.
