    What Slavic imagery? Throwing some buzz-words like husars, 'szlachta', 'pocztowy', etc. and basically basing the Northern army on Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth does not make it Slavic. There is nothing Slavic in this fic. What do we get instead - canals (that BTW make sense), powerful Starks on the level of Stark-wank and some boring correspondence explaining why North is better than rest of the Seven Kingdoms.

    Second chapter in and I may drop it for various reasons like: - Jaime speaking in front of everyone why he killed Aerys - everyone claims Brandond as king without any problems - Tywin captures Ellia and the children and they are sent to Dorne - Joanna lives for no reason at all If this would be an AU where Brandon lived and Robert died without any other changes it could be interesting. Right now, that looks like a fix!fic and Stark-wank!fic.

    So soars... started with interesting premise and then turned shit, with constant updates, muliple short chapters that could be combined into two longer ones, multiple POV that don't add anything meanigful and making this fic almost a fix-fic with good guys triumphant (Starks) and bad guys punished (Lannisters). Also, Odran, tone down that Tully hatred. We get it, you don't like them, and you think Cattelyn Tully is a stupid cunt, but for fucks sakes, it starts to sound like the usual...

    @Hashasheen - the true beauty of RPGs. Players overthink everything. Always. My players in Call of Cthulhu, after one encounter with a room spilling blood out of the walls and a murderous bed that wanted to throw them out of window, started to carry their shotguns everywhere. It almost killed them in the end - getting mind controled while having a loaded weapon is not a good idea :awesome

    If you want to send Jon to Essos, why not make him want to join a sellsword company like Second Sons. After all, Jon's ancestor Rodrik Stark served with them, so it could be believable that after hearing about that Jon decides to try himself in sellsword life? And him ending as a slave would be a consequence of this choice.

    Both are basically "Everything works out for the Starks". And in the second one I kept wondering why the hell did Freys betray the Starks, even though Robb did not any of his mistakes from canon. For me this fics ar fix-fics without any kind of substance to them.

    @Castiel IMO Harry without his wand is just another body to be butchered in the War of the Five Kings. Let him keep his wand, but just throw his younger self into Westeros - I would propose Harry from the end of PoA. He's almost 14, knows enough magic to survive and add something meaningful to the story, but not enough to completely break it. His main problem would be comunication and understanding what people around him are saying (or are we going with "magic-translates-everything"...
