    I was thinking about this yesterday, but historically speaking shouldn't roughly that scenario have happened at the time of the Norman Conquest of England? Hogwarts was founded circa the 9th century or so IIRC, while the Normans invaded in the 11th.

    I know, but disregarding whatever the fuck @KGB's on about, it doesn't really seem to fit DLP? We largely don't tend to go in for Harry/Draco, in a platonic or a romantic sense, but even if it was let's say Daphne or Fleur and Harry, it's still just a variant on a "reading the books" plotline where it's films (about a different fandom, at that) that are being watched. It's not my cup of tea, and I think that it won't be that of most of the others here, either. I'm not slagging on you if...

    You had me until this line. There's more to the Fate universe than just the HGW. I'd also shy away from just copying HP plot into this fused universe - you've only posted the outlines, though, so maybe you'd be coloring them in differently, so to speak.

    Greece. The country is called Greece, not Greek. Or Hellas, or Ελλάς, for bonus points. Also personally I think setting it in a war against the Persians is more interesting, as by the time the Romans came around most of the interesting events in Greece had come and gone. Plus Persians are way more esoteric than the relatively practical Romans, so I think their magic would be more interesting, but it's your choice, I suppose.

    I can definitely see it in that image, yeah. Just didn't register before. My memory is kind of shit with actors/actresses, anyway. There's also the fact Cersei's more memorable scenes tend to have the focus elsewhere, if you catch my drift.

    Y'know, I really like that idea. The problems I have with it, summed up: *The starting premise: that Lily would be coldblooded enough to (presumably brutally) murder her family. We don't know much about her characterization, but that seems a little off. *Also, why only give Harry the Dark Mark? Why not Lily, too? *Why leave Dudley alive? Seems like a dangling plot hook, but unless he's suddenly a wizard, he's not gonna have much relevance, I think. *Lily/Snape. Bah. *Why would Lily not tell...
