    One Piece is everything every other major shounen manga is not- planned out. There are no asspulls in One Piece- you can actually see the foreshadowing that occurs, if you look back for it. There is no powercreep- There's no Super Saiyan 1, then 2, then 3 to keep up with the big bads.     Someone two weeks ago on a different forum predicted exactly what Luffy's response was going to be- [spoiler] It makes a lot of sense to me, not only Luffy's response but also the pirates response to him. It really is all about freedom to him, and in the end its essentially the same as if he had said yes from the start, except now he doesn't have any real day to day obligation to them/them to him. It's more of a formalized alliance, and the way it was done really feels... right to me.

    Zoro basically turned half the chapter into a badass boast where he cut apart a mountain repeatedly in midair after being thrown across an island. The fight wasn't epic, but Zoro ended it with style.

    Updates Resumed last week, and we're well into the cleanup phase of the arc. Sephiroso's concerns were unnecessary, because Zoro just had his epic fight of the arc to its conclusion. Now all we got left is Luffy fighting Doflamingo, and that's gonna be even better.

    its good stuff, you can tell its building up to something insane with Corazon and Law, and then its going to flash back to the fight and something awesome is going to happen there related to the end of the flashback. Maybe it turns out Law got the disease from amber-lead, and for whatever reason he used his fruit to swap out Corazons health/life/whatever for his own like Doflamingo said it could do? Then Law proceeds to try to do that to doflamingo as well? Of course it would fail,...

    And Usopp has had more character development then 99% of Bleach characters, and more then pretty much anyone in Naruto that doesn't have a Sharingan/Rinnegan/Reincarnation power.
