    They've forgotten a LOT of things, and many things that were supposed to be major plot points have just been shrugged off in the next couple of episodes. (The brothers being hunter by the police all over the country, and 3 episodes later, they're back pretending to be Federal Agents being one example). Eh, this is juts routine for supernatural.     Pfft. He was right to kill her. That's my opinion. If you want arguments, go look in the death sentence thread. Also, if you've forgotten, Dean has spent a lot of time in hell, and was forced to torture others. Thinking that he has a sane mind is pointless. So yeah, I doubt he'll show any mercy to a creature whose very nature is to kill. One another note, this same theme was also seen in another episode, where another hunter tried to kill the pregnant wife of a monster.

    All in all, a fucking fantastic finale, but yeah, I too felt that the whole Great Wall of Sam thing was a bit rushed. As someone here said earlier, I hope this has far-reaching consequences for Sam (and no, I don't simply want him to turn evil this time around).
