You gave up after like 4 people or something voted for you and then self-voted and just said to lynch Vaimes and another person when you were dead.

It's one thing if you were ever in real trouble, but the reaction to the pressure is totally disproportionate.

I even remember asking you to move your vote off yourself after your wagon diffused itself whilst you were still voting for yourself something like 24 RL hours later. It's one thing to give up on convincing people you're town, but that was basically not scum hunting of any kind.

I'm super frustrated with the way that Fable has played.

I don't know if the "too bad to be a wolf" argument still holds water anymore.

I think shooting him with Hunter is better though, because IDK if witches can afford to allow Fable to die if he really is LW with the holies and the fact that we hit one and maybe two scum so far. And I'd like to get the demon protect out of the way if possible.

Fable if you're actually holy and for some reason claimed zealot I'm going to... uh... find myself a nice car to run into.

Ok so obviously that's not useful for me, but if there's anyone else.

He's not holy so stop. If someone cc'ed zealot he would have been insta-lynched. If we lynched him he would be died with us thinking he was zealot. Just no.

Pretty sure I would have been CC'd by now if that were the case.

Also you should click that link.

Got sidetracked earlier whilst writing out my reads post, so stuff on dC will be delayed. Gonna go grab some dinner and come back and finish it off.

    Uhhhhh.

    UHHHHHHH.

Hey Citrus. Citrus. Are you not an agent?

Because I was definitely, like, almost a hundred percent sure you were.

And if you aren't what was up with the whole "I don't share a QT with tom" thing at EoD 1?

I suppose it's -EV to ask the claimed agents to claim one of the roles they have and make the conspirator verify, but I really want to... :?

If you're curious what's on the other side of that link it's me claiming under way less pressure than I did here. Actually now that I think about it I can't remember ever rolling something that wasn't VT and not claiming before the game was over.

Nope. I had no idea how to react to what beruru said because I hadn't thought about that stuff at all, so chose to appear aloof. I threw that statement out because I wanted to avoid the possibility of being night-killed and then the theory that town!Tom and I were dead agents from being considered at all, because scum might use it to doubtcast an agent claim somewhat

    Hmmmmmmmmm.

Okay. But that was an awfully hilarious coincidence that I'm not talking about until post game.

So, if everything I know is a lie... I need to rethink a bunch of stuff.

    I mean... I guess?

You didn't literally stop playing in that game, though.

If you are town, you are actively throwing, and obviously that's bad.

I don't think I did anything that game until d4?

Also how is it "you guess" I claimed under less pressure that game when it was 2 hours into d1?

Game too long, I just read your ISO.

Not doing anything until D4 isn't something you can do in WH, especially in halftime where D3/D4 is sometimes the last day of the game. (Chances of the game ending at halftime are always very high regardless of the role distribution.)

So on dC, gonna try to split it up into two separate halves by D2 and D3.

    D2
#1640 - I forgot he thought Citrus/tom were w/w. His position of voting for miner whilst waiting for GD etc... makes sense though, and I like the thought process behind trying to prod at miner.

I like his exchange with Rubicon and others re: Citrus when he realises some people are town reading Citrus off vote analysis rather than scum reading.

His read wall category in #1694 seems a little at odds with his miner vote though. But that's a small thing.

I feel there definitely was a bit of D2 where dC is content to sort of sit in the background and occasionally ask questions. But on the other hand, I really like how he deals with Acio/Fable (e.g.#1933). Doesn't feel like it's scum theatre (e.g. pretty sure the frustration from Acio/Fable are both real). Though I guess if Acio/Fable are somehow v/v, in the 1% of worlds where this is the case then this conciliatory bit from dC might deserve a relook?

But yeah, the only thing I'd knock dC for so far is maybe how most of his reads don't really change in #2030 from his last read wall. There's a lot of waffling about though, something I'm not sure a calculating witch!dC does. Like the post where he talks about not having strong town reads.

He's somewhat low impact after that for a bit. He has quite a few posts and he's around live reacting and building reads, but like, it feels (as dC himself admits) barely there. This is why I basically don't really remember much of what he did D2.

His flip-flopping EoD2 isn't a good look. Though RE:Jarizok, I swear at one point dC called Jari's case well reasoned or something but is now maliciously bad? This might be totally wrong though so I'll try and hunt the quote down again in case my mind is totally making it up.

Conclusions: Like some of his early D2 content, then it kinda feels like he's just there in the thread. Not sure how much is him not having enough time, but his tone becomes super bland, which is somewhat worrying.

Gonna take another look at the EoD2 and dC before I look at D3, but kinda need a short break from reading/writing stuff so gonna post this for now.

Not sure how comparable it is to claim early in a close set-up with flips (and it seems a cult?) and claiming for no reason in an open set-up with clear (and known) consequences.

I mean, I did only read your ISO.

You were a lot more helpful in that game than this one.

If you think I'm a witch you should actually make a case this time instead of voting for me and doing nothing.

    Just saying.

    dC

    EoD2:
In terms of stuff that's potentially interesting, it's the 'late-ish' consolidation onto mal, followed by an immediate random attempt to lynch Jarizok.

Can't really read too much into this without a (or almost confirmed) mal flip, but since I'm more inclined to think maybe Fable=LW, Acio/mal=town(?) world is the case I think:
-> consolidation is probably bad timing wise, but then again basically everyone but kai and Silver were happy to go along with mal
-> Jari/dC unaligned (not just from this, but from Jari picking dC to ISO/case and other stuff in D2)

Also figured out why the 'blandness' from dC bothers me a little. I feel his case on Citrus started out strong D2, and the evolution made sense (e.g. he prodded everyone who disagreed with his tom/Citrus w/w thing early). Just after that, I didn't really get the sense it was a priority anymore.

    Later.

    ...

I kind of want Conspirator to out because I want to know who they are, but not post info or anything. (This is a bad idea, probably.) If we are still doing Hunter Plans, this is probably extra bad, but oblits don't chain and if the game only has two nights left anyway I don't think it matters... ?

By the way, is thread consensus that Mal was town or scum? I need to know if I can post told_you_so.gif.

    No.

Beruru, please just stop with the mechanics. Like I am starting to get confused on whether you just have a completely different valuation of things or if you're trying to propose -EV things but stop.

    D3

I get a sense some energy is back into dC after the super long D2 from some of his more joke-y opening posts.

There's a lot of mechanics discussion though. I don't get the sense he was only doing mechanics talk and therefore scummy however, since basically everyone around in the thread at that point was either waiting around for a claim or throwing out some speculation at the N2 results.

I don't really like that he's admitted that his town read of me is pretty stale, but that I'm still roughly in the town(-iest) block of people for his read wall (#3139), even if it's on the lowest rung.

His Citrus read going back towards null is also an meh thing. But it's the kind of meh thing I don't think witch!dC does? Like he's basically making it harder to mislynch Citrus later by softening his read on him.

He feels more engaged to me today, but I think part of that is all the mechanics related talk making him seem more 'natural'. Which is a witch-y thing, but I'm not sure I can pin down specific examples of this rather than just the sense I got from reading his posts.

    Conclusions:
I think I'm pretty tempted to just lock in a dC/Jari unalign. It doesn't seem like it can be v/v, because I feel there would have been more encouragement from a witch somewhere either way. Some people are finding Jari independently scummy, but I don't seem to recall his case on dC being the exact reason.

In terms of my read independent of Jarizok, it's kinda paradoxical where I think he's probably been more town-y than Jarizok has been, but has also done more 'sketchy' things that I've noticed. I guess because although both were sort of in the background D2, dC was more involved with stuff as they happened.

I think gun to head I'm probably at a place where it's:
Fable is a little witch -> That probably means dC isn't his LW partner unless they've been distancing pretty well? And I don't think dC is an EW -> Jarizok probably a witch?
