I heard ya at the time, just none of the surrounding discussion moved the needle on my reads on either of you and I was at a point of wanting the slot to Do Things rather than continuing to overanalyze what was there.

Shado's posted, like, 100 words now. His reads are fairly sided with mine (and something he townread me for was both something the thread glossed over and something I think I would struggle posting as scum), at least to the point he's caught up, but I have ~no impression beyond that. Would like a more holistic game viewpoint from him so I have a better idea of if I'm being pocketed.

It's probably 70% an emotional thing (it meant a lot to me at the time that you understood that I was town even when I could barely communicate, and here I guess it's just refreshing that I have an opinion on you significantly north of sleb when you're not someone I expect that from) and 30% that the way you've given reads/hottakes has felt transparent/understandable/good/etc. even with the obv playstyle difference.

 

yeah I don't particularly blame you for that, I would like the slot to do more things as well.

also this new D1 strategy was SUPPOSED to lead to finding someone non-consensus to lynch D1 but all it's doing is giving me townreads on almost all the active players which is not helpful in the slightest >_>

FWIW, this is my first tinyhunt. I have played a couple witch hunts before, but the roles here are different enough to throw me. Rest assured I am irresponsible enough as scum to do something like-

I can personally attest to how easy it is to not know the tiny hunt roles as scum. I steered into not understanding and just tried to stay loose and push scummy people.
Eventually I plan to actually use the disinformation aspect in one of these as scum. Maybe this will be that game!

Uhhh let me ISO you and find that silver read because I don't remember my precise thoughts on that one but I have since come to read shadowlancer as town so I'm not sure it's that important anymore.

I also disagree because while that conversation holds true for day one lynch candidate purposes I'd probably shit a brick before going after town Newcomb as scum here, which is why Vaimes is also moving up my scum list for pointing that out because this push is kind of exactly like my Irene push in TH5, although that blew up in my face when we almost wound up lynching the priest and Newcomb ran away into the sunset with Lump as a witch.

So it being exactly null for partner interactions means it's still equally likely that interaction is w/w? I'll take it.

I got the Lazarus extension for Chrome for a reason, because it saves my field entries if I ever lose one of them while crafting a long post

But having completed and posted posts half-regurgitated at the beginning of almost everything else I post is driving me INSANE

 

Take a shot every time Cobalt forgets to erase the leftover saved part of his previous post.

 

@Delphine I was speaking about this post being a hot take, because it seemed like a really natural way to catch someone's progression seeming off.

It's possible the slot is scum and that was an INTENSELY accurate read and that Shadow has just completely turned it around since subbing in, but given that I've liked everything Shadow posted so far I'm just gonna let that drop for now.

A few things:

- I would much rather lump Jarizok than Tom because I think the widespread willingness to lump Tom means he's definitely not a witch and I would rather Jarizok get confirmed either way than conftown Tom, because I'm unsure on Jarizok at this point but nobody seems to read him town.
- I would say I'd rather lump Mal but the fact that Fonti wants Mal lumped bothers me because I do not like Fonti at all this game so I'm gonna not do that.
- I'm too solid on my Delphine town read to want her lumped anymore, now that the greater understanding of Lump's purposes has seeped into my pores.

I keep forgetting to come and actually do things. I think this game ended up being more serious than I thought it would when I signed up. Sorry for not caring. (I might actually quit mafia after this game. Not because of this game.)

I think I'm kind of rolling with a fonti/Jan/Cobalt town core for today with tom only really not being in there because it's tom even though I do feel like I have a pretty decent handle on what he looks like as either alignment.

My Jan read is probably the one I would revisit first out of those four tomorrow since my reasoning there isn't something I'm super confident in but I feel like Jan overestimates his scumgame by a lot so I'm not actually very worried about being pocketed there. And I'm fonti's Acolyte so I already know she's town. Mhm.

Have a few issues with dC that I may end up talking about at some point down the line but I really like his thread presence so far.

Think I probably lynch in Jari/mal right now and give everyone else room to do things for a while longer.

Haven't really seen anything from Jari to make me think he's town here and the way he's ignored dC in particular I think is pretty strange + a bunch of the reads he's putting out in thread just seem TMI to me and I don't understand why he's voting where/when he is at all. Don't really agree with fonti's point re: him TMIing mal town as I think it can just be him trying to discredit her / not really knowing how to defend a partner but that's not really something I feel strongly about.

mal's response to pressure from fonti wasn't terrible but she's just peaced since then and I think if you look at what she's actually done it's mostly just posting a bunch of thoughts on mechanics, no actual reads or reasoning for reads beyond a very superficial take on fonti and a scumread on Delphine that she's not talked about.
