Totally makes sense. After spending 3 hours watching the movie, your bladder is already on the verge of exploding. No need to torture the audience.

Edit: btw it's a 12pm showing and mine was only the second seat booked. Always weird hearing about packed theaters in USA.

To absolutely no one's surprise, Endgame is breaking just about every box office record people bother to measure. In the 2019 predictions thread I said it'll break 2,3bln worldwide. I stand by this statement. TFA watch out, cause Avengers are coming for your ass.

If there is one person that doesn't really get enough credit for their role in the making of Marvel films, it's the casting director.

Sarah Finn, the unsung hero of the MCU.

Holy shit, the casting director saved us from having a far more terrible Thor trilogy.

 

Yeah, MCU has consistently delivered slam dunks in the casting department. I mean, what a streak.

 

In terms of casting, the ONLY ones who I think weren't so good are probably Elizabeth Olsen and Anthony Mackie. I'm more of a fan of DC than Marvel when it comes to comics but I have dabbled. Olsen seems too..."Stable" I think is the best word? She can't quite seem to give off the slight unhingeyness that comics Wanda had. As for Mackie, he seems to be a bit too easy going compared to his comic counterpart.

But either way, they've both managed to make the roles their own and there's nothing wrong with not being 100% faithful to the source material.
