You don't need to see Thor 4? I haven't watched any MCU since Endgame, but Guardians is the only movie I have been considering watching and I know Thor went off with them at the end of Endgame.

We all have. The best part of L&T was the trailer with Sweet Child o'Mine.

L&T was just a waste of Godkiller Bale, Zeus Crowe and Thor Natalie.

"People like the talking rock and stupid joke now and then, right? What if did nothing else for two hours?"

The absolute waste of Natalie Portman's return is the biggest problem with the movie for me.

eh I mean Thor 4 definitely needed an extra run of script revisions to work itself out but it's gotten a strange amount of backlash. Like, it wasn't that bad. But Jane was legitimately the best written part of that script and perhaps the only thread I wouldn't send back for repairs. That and Thor giving the kids superpowers for a fight, because that sort of fun shit is one of the best parts of the superhero genre, though I'll admit personal tastes elevate that particular moment.

Guardians 3 was quite good though.

It was a tone deaf patchwork of overused or straight up bad jokes and people had high hopes for it after all the previous Thor storylines. Yes, it was that bad.

It was "I rank Thor 2 higher" bad.

Loki S2 started off strong. Quantumania completely took me off the Kang train, but Episode 1 put me right back on.

The last season of Loki was fantastic, best MCU since Endgame.

Just a phenomenal 5-6 hours of TV. It does need to be taken as 8 chapters of a story. But all together, and especially this last episode are just top fucking tier.

I think I'm at the stage where I just give up on the superhero genre.

I liked Loki S1, so I watched S2. First two episodes held my interest, but by the time we started getting deep into the victor timely stuff I just stopped caring. Part of this is because I knew that the actor has a lot of controversy going on. He was slated to be the next major villain in the marvel verse, which is now looking much less likely, so I don't have that much motivation to get invested in him.

But even so, I did watch it all the way through to the end, and as it ended I felt more relieved than satisfied. The last episode was a step up from the few that came before, but it wasn't enough to change my opinion on the entire show.

Its been a good long while since I enjoyed a Marvel production but damn I enjoyed every second of this last episode of Loki

AND mad props to marvel, for the first time they didn't use their IP to advertise the next movie/series/whatever

    It simply..ended.

I would also like to add, unlike female MCU protagonists who get handed everything on a silver platter.

I really enjoyed how Loki and Sylvie were portrayed on this show. We actually got to watch them earn their place in the story. Something I have desperately missed in the MCU/Disney Verse

I am actually also excited to see how DR.Strange and Thor would interact with Loki

As of this moment, Loki is basically a Time God.

    Saw The Marvels.

Ms. Marvel was enjoyable whenever she was on screen. Everything else about the film was fairly mid.

Not a bottom of the barrel MCU script a la Quantumania, but def not worth the budget they threw at it.

The Marvels: the villain is shit, and the emotional moments...well, aren't, but despite that I had quite a bit of fun with it. Nothing special by any stretch, but there are definitely worse ways to spend a couple of hours.

The Marvels is a facet of the MCU which just needs to be killed off and not revisited, along with the Eternals. Focus on a smaller universe and better storytelling, a la Loki.

I feel sorry for Brie Larson that she's been saddled with this trash, because you can see in Lessons in Chemistry that she's excellent when she has a good script and direction.
