    Errm, hello fellow Harry/Fleur fans.

I just came across this page, but got lost while searching for links in the 1st five pages. Then I realised there are 20 more. So I was hoping someone could summarise for me, what are the most favoured Harry/Fleur fics (other than The Secret Diary of Fleur Delacour, aged 16 34, which I'm reading at the moment) here at DLP? Thanks, I hope to devour a huge number of H/F fics rapidly so I can comment on them here!

Hey, and welcome to DLP - all H/F fans welcome.

Just a heads up though, doing a "searching for" is very much frowned upon, and is only really acceptable in the 'searching for' sub forum. Honest mistake, I'm sure, but just so you know.

As for H/F pairings out there, you're in luck, as we here at DLP have seen a boom of Heur fics, and none of the usual 'I am ze new healer at 'ogwartz, 'arry, and though I am never doing healing zings, it iz convenient so we can faire l'amour....

In WbA, Perspicacity has a very good work in progress called Dagger and Rose. Scary's "Sixth year - steps towards the end" features Harry/Fleur interaction with clearly nonplatonic intentions, though where it will end up is still a mystery.

Methene and Heather both have works in progress that have not been updated in quite some time, though are obviously heading in Fleur's direction.

And of course, my own shameless plug, I strongly recommend 'For Wand of a Wand' a brilliant fic that is destined to be of epic proportions.

Finally, we have this_old_dance, whose fic is one of the most original to date, 'Wasteland's of Time'

And I assume that you have already read 'The Lie I've lived' by Jbern, which is nothing short of brilliant.

    Enjoy!

Edit: I may be missing one or two, in which case, my apologies, and hopefully someone will set me straight.

    Dear all,

I could go on and paint a tale of treason, deceit, Weasley interference, devilry and ancient dragons, in an alliance with the Roman gods, which prevented my presence, both here and in writing.

It would be terrifying, keep you on the edge of your seats and completely false. The truth is, I have been on spring break back home. Today, as hail and rain welcomed me back to England, I am resuming my usual habits of hounding the boards, and writing, of course.

Just give me a day or so to set my affairs in order and catch up on the events, and I shall pick up the torch once again.

Ah, thanks very much for the advice vlad, I'll be sure to make good use of it (and hopefully avoid numerous flames!).

It is vraiment fantastique to avoid ze cliches, I'm just giving "Dagger and Rose" a look now and will progress to "For Wand of a Wand" shortly. I'd actually given "Sixth year - steps towards the end” a miss based of its description, but any Harry/Fleur merits a proper look.

When I first came across "Wasteland's of Time" I was blown away... Which sadly leads to my conundrum, I'm currently battling my way through the first book of this_old_dance's Hero trilogy, despite the cliché warning (which were entirely accurate) as the second book seemed far more promising. Considering my surprise at hearing about "Sixth year - steps towards the end"'s Harry/Fleur (I'd originally planned on giving it a miss) I'll have to be splitting my time with many fics, but the first encounter with surprise Harry/Fleur makes me hope that I might find some in the Hero Trilogy as well. Don't look at me like that, it doesn't hurt to dream!

And of course your right, JBern's "The Lie I've Lived is truly awesome stuff and having just reread what’s out so far its become my definitive Harry/Fleur story, just from the sniping between the two, and of course Harry's ogling.

Well, I’m off to do some reading!

Nice one Magus, H/F shippers always welcome, and good to see Methene back as well. I'd tell you to read my fic Sanity is Fleeting (well I am telling you), but it's not very good and theres no Heur at all yet. Vlad gave sound directions, so follow them. Otherwise just pop through the links we gave in this thread and you'll be alright.

Damn Methene, I was wondering where you had gone. It's good to know that you'll be writing once again. I would've been devastated if Of Blacks and Malfoys was discontinued.

Isn't that exactly what we want to read everyday here...?

Either way, welcome back Methane. I demand more work from you soon.

@ Magus - Chapters 10 & 11 are the main H/Fleur scenes, so you can just skip and read those if the rest doesn't interest you.

Yes....never enough H/F. There is also HP: Knowledge is Power which is in the recycling bin, which is a good fic.....near the end, skip the first ten chapters and get right on the Manipulative!Smart!Harry/Fleur.

Heh, Wastelands of Time is sort of my attempt to make amends for the sheer amount of cliche the Hero Trilogy began with... the last 700,000 words of it aren't overly cliche, but they do brush Epic - don't hold your breath for much in the way of relationships.

There'll definitely be Harry/Fleur on the horizon, in Wastlelands of Time, before Chapter 15 if all goes to plan though. Harry/Fleur appeals to me as 'win' these days.

    Cheers,

    Joe

Nah, but looking forward to your next update (soon dammit)

Tidus, as has been said, pictures of FAIL only come about the more general forum, as the WbA is designed to be a place for improvement and constructive critisism, even if harsh. The exception of course, is Tao, but he was something else entirely.

Don't get me wrong, Wastelands of Time is amazing, not only is it the most original take on Time Travel I've yet to see (which already gives it a 80% awesomeness) but then you find out its Harry/Fleur (+ 50%!). I was slightly concerned at first that it might be Harry/Tonks (which I find to be a bit more overdone then Harry/Fleur), but the latest chapter has put my mind to rest. Harry/Fleur is always win, so here's looking forward to Chapter 15! (And more brilliant fights as well, a Harry who has to sew himself up after a clash in a hotel with Fleur turning green beside him while she hands him the thread will always appeal to me more than Harry who spends 4 days in the Hospital Wing)

So then, hurrah for awesome!Harry and Fleur!

Your a little hard to understand, but I think you meant to say that Bollywood has got pretty girl's...I can agree to that.

As for wasteland's of time, Joe out done himself with that one.

Pfft, even many of the Bollywood cunts are ugly and fat. There are a few gems, but those are rare. Then come to America, it's hard to become a recognized actress if you're not hot.

And I'm not talking about the best India has to offer, I'm talking about their average population. And that poster I posted is what the average female looks like in India. At least, the one to the right. The one to the left is ugly even by Indian standards.

Go live in India for a year, and then try and say that Indian women are hot.
