Well, I did really like it before the time travel crap in the first story, but now it's just slowly getting worse. I don't really even read the chapters any more, just skim over them.

    So, no, not really.

I still like it. A lot. It isn't HP, but it's still innovative and has incredible combat scenes, with lots of politics and fun characters.

You know, now that Nic is back in the picture I'm starting to feel once again that this is a slash story with all of the slash cut out of it.

I mean what was the point of that annoyingly long Nic/Harry scene where they talk about their bond that apparently doesn't do much of anything?

"Namach says it would be easy get rid of it. Should we?"

"My mind and magic scream 'Yes!!' but my heart screams 'Noooooo!'"

I hope Nic dies next chapter. I never want to see him again. Send him back in time or some shit, I don't care.

The best part of this chapter was Namach reaction to Harry/Rahkesh tree,

Uh well…" Rahkesh trailed off best just tell him. Namach's eyes were starting to get unnerving. "It's a Dyalnos tree."
In her office Nvara spun around just in time to watch the hills on the far side of the valley turn to solid ice.

I was laughing for about 5 min after that but it look's like the pace will quicken up in the next chapter if you believe her preview of the next chapter.

    Lulz.

That's right, the Potter clan doesn't care who they mate with: Mudbloods, dragons, Elves, feather people - you name it they've done it.

It's why Harry is such a freak in this story.

Watch it be a Harry/hairy, manly demon pairing.

I hate myself a little for continuing to read this story.

I totally did the same. I wonder if there is something particularly unique about the trees. from the feel of the chapter, you could forge a blood connection with any tree (maybe not as strong but possible). Hopefully they will be back to killing in this next chapter, but who knows.

Am I the only one who noticed the line: "centaurs have dreams of world domination?" As for the hill turn to ice: it might well be the first time Namach has been truly surprised in decades.

I can't force myself to read this anymore. Its all just fucking filler, or "tying up loose ends," as she said. Its annoying, and I wish she'd just go fall off a cliff or something...

    On a totally unrelated note:

Damn you, Mordac. You linked to tvtropes.org. I cannot go on that site without spending at least half an hour browsing it. Damn.

But anyway, your joke was funny.

Now we know the truth about ASCaL.

This would be a pretty awesome story if for a few things:

    • Remove the HP aspects from it entirely. This story could have worked with an OC main character and removing HP aspects.
    • Namach is powerful and likes to flaunt it, we get it. But having Harry not care anymore, and not bow down to him like everyone else would be amusing. The hero worship regarding him is getting old, and over the top.
    • Less cliche Vampire behaviour.
    • And honestly? A well written, non-focal romance. All good stories need a bit of everything, romance not excluded.
    I'll give it a 3.

I third that. Is a story with no romantic under or overtones to much to ask for?

Because I can't count the number of times it's ruins a story for me.

No romance please we beg of you.

This story has gone so far down hill about the only thing that couple possibly make it go further would be romance which I would bet money would either be with Daray or Namach
