I should be updating my story tomorrow on ff.net, and I'll make sure I refer everyone to the C2 in my A/N.

Also, I don't know if it's a bump from the C2 or not, but my profile traffic has been a tad bit higher than average for a month where I haven't updated. Last time I checked my profile I had something like 6800 visitors and 8700 hits, which is pretty good considering last month I update twice and only had 12,000 visitors

 

Yes, I'm seeing this, as well. The only factor that has changed is the C2 making it to the front page (and tipped to take out 7th place soon - Top 5 here we come, baby!).

In a month where I updated what can still be considered a secondary story, Of Harry & Harry, and posted a brief one-shot, my profile page has had an additional 10,000 hits or so. Story traffic is 15,000 hits above average, as well.

Again, that is probably in part to the update/new story, but I think the trend is clear - the C2 is doing its job.

Further props are to be delivered to enembee. Still a cool... dude.

 

As of right now, ff.net has us listed at 801 subscribers in the #7 spot.

You know, ad-blasting aside, it'll be nice to have an update from you, Amer. So the C2 just served a double purpose as far as I'm concerned. Any idea which story you'll update?

 

^Pretty much this. I'll try to get the last chapter of Mother In Law's Love out as well. (Every little bit helps).

 

And I'm hoping to get Chapter 34 of Renegade Cause finished in the next few days.

I think Lost Time is due for an update. I also have two unfinished oneshots that have been lying around.

One of those oneshots I began a couple months ago, and is somewhat related to this sig/avatar theme I got. I'm just having trouble capturing the 'lovecraftian' horror I want to have in the story.

 

I've just remembered that you promised me update in my introduction thread. And it was almost a year ago. You are not going to tell my that your exams lasted so long?

 

I've also been trying to get an update out, having been in the midst of a move has done horrible things to my update rate. But I'd really like to get this one out sometime this weekend. Go C2 for extra motivation!

I can't believe how many subscribers we are still getting. This is working out really damn well.

 

A little late in noticing, but I've subscribed, and put a short blurb about the C2 in my profile, on the off-chance some random person ends up there.

It is the least I can do, as a shameless lurker, to give thanks to the DLP for vastly improving my reading list.

Maybe one of these days I'll actually finish a plot-line, and give a bit back that way. And/or you know... actually make posts.

It's actually a little encouraging that there's 'only' one slash C2 in the top 8 in that screenshot, honestly. I'm not a big fan of Snape, but people that like stories with him as a mentor, instead of with ones that have him linked to little boys sexually, are okay by me.
