I reckon Thrown Weapons could be one. Lockpicking of some sort will almost definitely be included, unless it is part of Sneak.

Curse the small detour of this thread into Oblivion mods - I just spent hours installing Oblivion and various mods because it made me want to play it again. :fire

    That said:

Skyrim looks amazing and I can't wait for it to come out.

I haven't been this stoked about a game in months. Good to see they're trying to overcome the problems Morrowind and Oblivion had.

This is the first game I've seen in a long time that I couldn't think of ways the developers could seriously fuck up at this point. I'm cautiously very excited. I think I'm gonna spend the rest of my night drinking, watching deadman wonderland, and then making random booty calls.

    Cheers :awesome

Goddamnit my year is fucking ruined. I'll prolly hold off on getting a new pc just to remove the temptation until after my exams.

Am I the only one who thought the draugh (?) looked like Others? aSoIaF mods ftw...

I wonder what recommended specs will be for this game. Hopefully my 6950 2gb should be enough to run it on reasonably high detail.

Since it's made for consoles and ported to PC it shouldn't be too high.

My issue with it is that it fucks up a lot of the stuff you can do with the construction set. Did with Oblivion, anyway. Since I usually spend about as much time modding as actually playing the game, it's a little annoying.

Looks like ill wait till mods start appearing before I buy the game then. Oblivion looks amazing when you add certain mods amd i believe Skyrim will be no different. Why would I want console level grapics for a game like this?

I can understand the PC players irritation with the game being ported from consoles and complicating matters with their ability to mod. After all, it costs a great deal of money to build a quality PC and it requires upgrades every few years. They deserve extra and mods are the benefit they get for the amount they pay.

What I can't understand is people refusing to buy the game based on what they have seen in demos which, so far, have all been on the 360. Granted, as a console player I haven't seen first hand what the PC is capable of but surely gameplay is the most important aspect and not how the game looks (which is beautiful in my opinion).

I might be able to understand not buying it if the gameplay had turned you off from it but graphics seems a bit of a weird reason when you see how it looks on the 360.

At the very least, it's going to look just as good on PC as it does on 360, if your PC can handle it. If your problem is how the races look, Better Bodies will probably be out in the first month or so, rage about nudity and all. Honestly, I'm expecting the inevitable shitstorm that'll come from someone making the kids naked/killable in the first couple of weeks.

Personally, I plan to pick up a copy as quickly as possible, before some jackass decides to try and get it banned.

There's an Oblivion mod out there that provides animations and AI for every single creature in the game, allowing them to rape your character. Nothing good is going to come of adding kids to the mix.

Immersion. I want kids, teens, pets, pregnant women, cripples, etc. to provide a better reflection of a vibrant, living society for the game to take place in. Seeing a stagnant society consisting of just adults constantly broke immersion for me in Oblivion.

I know what you meant, Tehan, but I don't care about perverts and sadists. Just pointing out that there is a benefit to having kids in the game... even if those little ekiddies would be brutally murdered with vids upped to Youtube as soon as a mod came out to make 'em killable.

That's.... impressively through. Fucked up, yeah, but the dedication is impressive.

This. Hell, a mod to make them killable is the first mod I'm going to write, closely followed by an albino little girl vampire that has a dagger and knows how to use it. Not sure if I'll write a full quest or just make a companion NPC, but I keep having visions of a sadistic little girl cutting up a dragon.

If you make a spell to summon her and call it 'Animatus Deadlius Lolius' you will be a god in my eyes.
