Yeah pretty much. I think I actually use Google for spell checking even more than the pie chart suggests.

There are other programs than Firefox and MS Word, Tehan.

What browser or text editor do you use that lacks a spellcheck function, apart from notepad.

Browser built spellcheck is sometimes intrusive if automatic and other times tedious with you having to select the word or something.

Less tedious than opening another tab to spellcheck via Google?

Oh, I use Firefox and MS Word. I also use other programs sometimes. It's weird, I know, but I kinda like to spell words correctly even on IM programs/IRC.

It's useful when you REALLY don't know a word and spellcheck has no suggestions. It also works as one hell of a dictionary if you're not 100% certain on a word's meaning.

Yeah, using the mouse is always more tedious than a simple Ctrl+T.

Get Chatzilla and you'll have the Firefox spellcheck.

Completely offtopic: But http://wordweb.info/free/ is an awesome dictionary program. If you're not sure you spelt something correctly, just mouse over the word and hit your wordweb hotkey (e.g. alt+ctrl + right click) and it'll bring up all sorts of cool stuff.

    Offensive? No.
    NSFW? Yes.

Thankfully I know better, browsing any forum with pic threads is always NSFW.

Actually, there's nothing NSFW in there.
