    Exceeded my expectations so much.

So glad all three are ramping up again, especially One Piece.

I have a feeling most of these fights won't even be a challenge. And I am looking forward to it so much.

How many chapters has it been since the crew fought together? Too many.

Edit: When Luffy went on a rant about heroes is maybe my favorite Luffy speech ever, even if it was only a few sentences.

I love how Luffy isn't a hero. He doesn't give one fuck about saving people he doesn't know, he just wants to eat meat.

I always think that in Naruto and One Piece both, the numbers always feel off. I never had the feeling that Luffy knocked out 50 000 people, or if there even were 50000 people. It's really hard to convey such huge numbers in manga.

That said, fucking awesome. Luffy's "not a hero" speech was epic and him using his haki against fodders was great. Next week, epic Straw Hat curbstomp

My faith in Jinbe has been restored. Sawwy Jinbe<3
Also, all of that was totally Shirahoshi's fault. That little shit had talked, none of this would've happened.
Well, nothing surprising there. As Zoro said, if Luffy couldn't take down 50,000 grunts without lifting a finger he wouldn't be Luffy.

I am kind of worried that Haki will start making more of a central role in One piece and edge out Devil fruits.Anyway awesome chapter and I loved Luffy's reason for not wanting to be a Hero.

Why are you worried? If Haki can't edge out Devil Fruits, then those Logia types, Mystical Beast Zoan type and w/e super overpowered Devil Fruits won't ever be defeated o,o

Not to mention the fact that it was getting ridiculous how every dude and his dog had eaten a Devil Fruit.

Haha, guess you are right, guess I just grew attached to them and their creative uniqueness,I was worried that in the new world it will be all about whoever has haki is a badass[IMG](large chakra reserves???).Heres to hoping it doesnt go down that path

Devil Fruits are common because, well, we've been in the Grand Line. Outside of the Grand Line are a lot of people that've never even seen someone with a Devil Fruit.

Yeah, probably. Only way to deal with Logia, after all, and I can't imagine anyone going to the New World with such a weakness.

Guess you're right, but it kind of takes away the uniqueness that both Haki users and Logia types might enjoy. Its kind of disappointing but guess all just have to accept it

I don't really see it as taking away the uniqueness, you just have to keep in mind the scale of the world, here. The New World is a small ocean that people have fought and died to get to.

No one outside of the Grand Line has these abilities.

I see your point, well atleast not everyone has Kings Haki.Do you think Haki will end up being some sort of power scale shit? cause that would really suck.

Besides Luffy has a special type of Haki, the Haoushoku, only one in a million gets this type of Haki.

That is very, very wrong. We've seen loads of people outside the Grand Line with these abilities.

Yeah, and guess how many million people the One-Piece world has.

I wasn't saying that there were absolutely no people, just that comparatively there are pretty much none. My phrasing was a tad horrible.

Well Alabasta alone has 10,000,000 alone. Fishman island has 5,000,000.

I have no idea, but my guess is lots.

But at the same time how many of them are civilians that never awaken their Haki? Rare power is rare.

Also, just because you have Haki doesn't make the devil-fruit power null and useless. E.G, when Whitebeard was fighting one of those admirals (I forget his name), I'm pretty sure he stabbed straight through near pa art of the body where it'd be fatal usually. But besides some blood coming out of their mouths, they seemed fine and almost healed too afterwards. So I think Devil Fruit users with Haki will have their powers amplified and stronger too.
