    Doctor needs a hair cut.

But Doctor with beard totally works.

Also, is the doctor really aged in this picture?

Indiana Jones? I can see that.

Anyway. I've been a bit nervous about the finale; apparently tomorrows episode is fairly arc light, and I think this is supposed to wrap up the arc plots, more or less. That's a hell of a lot to fit into 45mins/1 hour. Those promo pics are awesome though.

Also, casting details for the Christmas Special.

More big name stars. We'll see if my projection of the writing plays out.

Also, hooray for Bill Bailey. Maybe he can do his French Doctor Who theme.

Fun but missable episode tonight. I like the chemistry between Cordon and Smith, and it had me giggling, but...well, the Cybermen were wasted, for a start (I know that the Cybermen here are the 'original' Cybermen, and apparently they've always been pained by strong emotion, but yeah). The ending was good, and it's great to actually have an answer to one of the questions, but it felt a little tacked on. Inconsequential then, but who was expecting anything else?

And I'm still worried that there's too much to cram into a single episode next week, but we'll see how that goes.

A funny episode, even gay jokes, which normally tend to be annoying. And like Shinysavage, I'm not sure if one episode will be enough to give us a proper finale. We will see.

    Unsurprisingly I loved it.

    I'm cliche that way.
    Thoughts on the episode:
    • Eye patch lady seems a lot more sinister than before.
    • Name of Amy's perfume was clever.
    • Amy is Mary watson from spiderman 2 so that means Rory is Spiderman.
    • I ship Craig and the Doctor. Croctor FTW.

I wonder what the doctor did for the remaining 200 years since we are seeing him 200 years after the last episode.

Just Saw an Awesome theory on Reddit. The Eyepatch Kovarian wears lets her remember the silence. She seems to be unaffected by them at the end of the episode, and the Prequel shows the guards wearing them around the silence as well.

Maybe looking at them with both eyes makes you forget.

What was the name of Amy's perfume? I only remember the slogan.

Petrichor (sp?) - the smell of dust after rain from the Doctor's Wife. Which doesn't sound like a terribly appealing perfume, if I'm honest, but it's a nice touch.

The Doctor speaking baby amuses me to no end. I don't know why. Quazi, that idea about the eye-patch it pretty clever.

I liked the episode but I'm worried that the finale is going to end in a massive cliffhanger. They have a lot of stuff to do in 42 minutes.

I wonder how The Doctor is going to get out of being dead. The Flesh seemed like it was being set up as a way out but maybe it just was a way for Amy to give birth and run around in short skirts at the same time.

I don't know how many people watch the previews so I'm just going to hide it here.
River is seen wearing an eye-patch in one scene I think, which links into Quazi's idea and makes her look creepily like Kovarian, and in another scene is underwater in a spacesuit, so I think part of the episode will be a retelling of "The Impossible Astronaut" with a different PoV. I was kind of hoping River as The Doctor's killer was a red herring.

Also, I think I saw a pterodactyl. Doctor Who finally has dinosaurs.

    All hail Stormagedon.

I have to agree with Jon here. Stormaggedon, Dark Lord of All carries this episode as far as I'm concerned.

It was pretty decent feel good with Craig.

Next episode should be good, as always.

I have to say, for this season, the plot episodes seem to be a bit better than last season, whereas the filler episodes seem to be a lot worse.

Anyone have any knowledge of when season 7 is due to come out?

I enjoyed it and Stormageddon is a boss and the d'aaw moment at the end with all the love was a happy ending at least.

Anyway, I thought those dinosaur things looked like those creatures that fix time by devouring everyone back from when Rose tried to save her dad. I'm almost certainly wrong though as I'm sure someone confirmed dinosaurs.

What the fuck is that shit? Seriously? Didn't they split it up in the first place in order to make it so there wasn't such a long wait in the first place?

    Also, Palindrome wins this thread.

The split was to get people excited about the aftermath of 'A Good Man Goes to War'. Nothing to do with the wait. And I'd be surprised if the later broadcast wasn't at least in part to do with all the Olympic footage that will be on during the show's normal period.

Honestly, I stopped watching this a few weeks back: Moffat's a shit writer/director, IMHO.

So, we've found out that Amy and Rory have stolen every possible idea that the Doctor gave them and became entrepreneurs. So even when they've left the show, they make cameo appearances. Which is kind of like George W. Bush giving the State of the Union address during the Obama presidency. And with a Republican-controlled Congress, it might fuckin' happen.

Oh, and Craig was there too.

And the Doctor, I guess. But he was more like Doctor John Smith, Family Counselor. He saved Rose's parents' marriage (also the Earth), he match-made for Mickey and Martha (even the Doctor knows you don't marry outside your ethnicity unless you're white, asshole).

Remember the abusive parent from Fear Her? Doc. Smith fixed that nigga up right too.

He ended Donna's abusive relationship (another black dude, who knew?) and she eventually got married to some other faggot, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME, he made sure that the rebellious daughter of a war vet reconciled with her father [Wilf and the cunt, in case you've forgotten].

Now he's moved on to a girl who was having trouble committing to one man (she was a prostitute), got her married, repaired her relationship with her parents AND her questionably-illegitimate offspring.

So I guess it was Craig's turn again. It was last year that this big fat unattractive dude was trying to admit his feelings for his woman. Now they're married with a kid (fucking fast relationship; it can only end in flames, unless the Doctor steps in again HE DID) and he's having a hard time being a father.

Just another day in the life for…

Anyway, I had to re-watch the ending so I could make sure that the Cybermen were actually destroyed, and weren't just standing still, bemoaning the fact that they could no longer have children. Even Craig knows how ridiculous the premise was, as he cries in disbelief, "I blew 'em up wiv love."

I guess that last year's episode with Craig was so good that they brought him back with a shitty plot so that people would remember not to think he's good enough to bring back.

Just so people don't think I'm referring to the fact that the actor's name is "Matt Smith", the Doctor has frequently in the past used "Doctor John Smith" as an alias. He has also used "Doctor Johann Schmidt", so you can feel free to mentally change any iterations of "Doctor Smith" in the above post to draw parallels between Schmidt and Freud you like. The only one I can think of being "SCHMIDT AND FREUD HOHOHO GERMAN NAMES", but since Freud is Austrian, that one really doesn't count.

Tl;dr, you're fucking idiots if you thought anything about this episode was good other than Stormageddon.

Edit: Since someone added Stormageddon to the tags, surely you can get rid of "awesome_amy". Unless you're trying to cum on her (the one you have Photoshopped and currently have as your desktop).

Edit 2: You got rid of "awesome_amy". Fuck yeah.
