I'm playing on my cheap notebook with medium settings just fine - the fps is a bit low (I'd say somewhere between 20 and 30 fps) but it certainly doesn't look shitty. At least to me.

    Averis, your sig is huge.

My brother got his 360 copy today. I'll be getting my PC copy on Monday. Watching him play for the past hour or so, my biggest gripe is with the menu layouts and the fonts used. Hoping for a DarNified UI or other mod soon.

Sounds like you're using a 32-bit OS; they only recognize up to 3gb of RAM. If your CPU supports 64-bit operation, you can just upgrade to a 64-bit OS and that should solve the RAM issue.

Go into the command console and type FOV 1-200, personally I'm using 90 as it seems to look right. Otherwise a great game, my main gripe is that there's no hotkey to accept the final crafting confirmation so you have to use your mouse for it, assuming the custom UI's will fix that.

    Fuuuu-

Thought I'd hidden items with that elf dude who helps you infiltrate the Altmer part outside Solitude. Turns out I hid nothing and I'm basically screwed. D:

I only got to play a little bit yesterday before my friend's 18th birthday party. So, in retribution I'll be spending all weekend with Skyrim. My Argonian thief will be joining the Thieves guild soon, and after that probably do the main quest. My Dunmer spellsword will do all my dark brotherhood and other side-quests. See you guys next week!

Been playing straight since 10am this morning. Gonna eat some Wendy's real quick and go play some moar.

To sum it up so far (and I'm only level 10 and have done just a few quests, killed 2 dragons): it's fucking awesome. It pwns Oblivion IMO in most of the areas that matter.

I went with a Bosmer sneak/thief/archer char. So far it's been pretty easy going, nothing too hard. Probably not as powerful as a full mage or warrior build, but it's very fun. I love the change that they made to the lock picking system...much for fun than the repetitive tumbler bullshit from Oblivion.

About to start on the Thieves Guild quest line in Riften. Got tired of Whiterun pretty quickly and had to book it out of there.

This game makes using magic feel so satisfying. I have to become a master of magic, now.

Anyone else following the Fighter's Guild (I forget what it's called in this game) quest line? I had like two quests and then suddenly 5000 gold worth of silver swords :/

A little odd, but it got me a pretty dope house.

    That's if you're using XP 32-Bit. Windows 7 32-Bit will recognize all 4 Gigs. 64-Bit will recognize more than 4Gigs if you're with 7.

QFT Wish I had seen this before playing. I swear, I think that giant knocked my character all the way to Morrowind.

This is hard as a Breton. Everything kills me easy.

What level would you guys say I'd need to be to be able to kill a dragon? I mean, I killed the first one, but I had that immortal chick keeping its attention off of me. I tried to kill one after that and got pwnd.

Dragons are pretty easy tbh. Dodge, heal, attack, repeat.

    Giants are a different story. ;-;

Yeah, I just ran into my second dragon... Just threw fireballs at him while he attacked me, healed when he flew around, and he went down way before me.

I'm hoping the dragons become tougher later in the game. I had more trouble killing The Caller (a boss in the magic college line of quests) than the dragons that have attacked me so far.

Loving every second of this game. Set up as a Bosmer, and I've only leveled Marksman and Sneak. It's stupid powerful at level 15, though I wonder how I'll do late game, and I rarely get touched.

Honestly, it's a difficult class to start with but has only gotten better as I pump more and more into Overdraw.

Been watching the twin play on his computer. He's running a mage and it looks amazing... If I wasn't so in love with the Sniper build for Bosmers, I'd play just for the light show.
