I'm starting to get burnt out by Supernatural's flaws.

I'd say I'm considering dropping it, but I watch so little television as is (mostly Stewart/Colbert, MLP:FIM, Young Justice, Last Man Standing, Castle and wrestling) that I think I'll manage to stay on until this season's finale.

Probably the other gods back in their highday. Trying to get other mortals to take out other rivals.

I liked it. Dean teaming up with Ness was loads of fun. It was one of the better episodes this season.

And apparently Dean is strictly into Dick now.

    Well, that was... strange.

So, who believes Dean was right and that Bobby did just lend them a hand? I don't know if I'd rather see him hang around and risk his chances to keep helping the boys out or accept his fate and move on.

Another overused trope of the series that I am sick off:

One of them having a hunch/suspicion and the other one not believing it. They have been at this all their life, I think they would start to at least humor the other one if they have a lead, you know, seeing that 99% of the time that lead turns out to be true.

Strange episode is an apt description, dunno, I felt the subject matter rather shallowly dealt with, to be honest, although, I liked Sam's reaction at the end, kind of.

But they aren't... Sam's kill was legitimate, and Dean's was just him being no better than the monsters they hunt.

True, I knew that as well; but even I expected Sam to say it.

    Also, clowns.

Haven't seen the episode yet, but I figured I'd drop by and mention that Cas is scheduled for a return in Episode 17(three episodes from last night).

OK after watching the last few episodes I was reminded of something that has always bothered me during the later seasons of supernatural, what reminded me of it was the episode with the crossroads demon.

IIRC in the earlier seasons wasn't exorcism of the demons enough to banish the demon and keep the host alive? At some point it seems that they have decided that permanently killing a demon is more worth it than saving an innocent soul/man/woman.

At the end with all the discussion thats been going around about how Dean is becoming a dick because of killing Amy, I have to ask why no one has mentioned the fact that both of them without second thought have been killing people as a means to an end.

It occurs to me that this question might have been asked and answered and I would appreciate it if you could direct me to the source.

Permanently killing a demon even at the cost of a civilian is apparently better because it prevents that demon from manifesting again at some point and just starting the bitter cycle all over again.

And keep in mind, until recent times it wasn't even thought to be possible to kill a demon and all they had was exorcism rites.

The clown episode really bored me. It lacked any humor I could connect to and even worse there was no atmosphere there. It felt as dull and bland as this kid toy play center would feel in real life.

Its one of the reasons why I thought Sams powers were fairly damn good, insta-gib the demon while leaving the host unharmed assuming the demon hadn't killed them before hand.

A fairly good episode, over all. Highlights of course being Sam and Lucy's interactions, and the ending? Oh, poor Sam. He just keeps getting screwed this season.

This week was pretty boring. The demon storyline was predictable (not to mention that the "twist" was constantly advertised in the promos), and the acting from that Jeffrey guy was horrid. Dean was just... there.

Sam and Lucifer are what made this episode worth watching. Their interactions were hilarious. Its nice to have Lucifer back and screwing with Sam again. I wonder though, if Lucifer is a hallucination at all. What if he is real and Sam is his cage, and Lucifer is trying to regain control?

I think it's just a hallucination. Mainly because not even Death wanted Lucifer running around causing issues. I'd think that if Sam were some sort of meat-cage for the Morningstar, Death would of said something when he was rooting around Sam's innards putting up the mental walls and seeing how Sam didn't have a soul.

I'm hoping it IS actually Lucifer, and is basically what happened with Azazel and the Nun, Lucifer just 'whispering' through to Sam.
