I also dreamt about Alduin head-banging to heavy-metal, and the Dovahkiin leading an army of Sovngarde's finest into battle against the Thalmor.

Needless to say, I had a pretty Skyrim-intense nap. :sherlock:

On the plus side, I finished more of my framework for my Skyrim story.

Alright this is pissing me off big time. I'm not sure what causes this, but it's only happened since I bought the game a week or so ago, didn't do it on the prior version.

I'll use a shout, or say go to draw my bow, and the game will minimize itself. I can bring it right back up no problem, but it's fucking annoying. Sometimes while holding left mouse to draw my bow the entire game will stop, like totally pause, until I let go of the left mouse. I'm leaning towards a Steam issue, as I'd played for hours this morning without it happening, but once I kept shift+tabbing to talk with Krogan about SKYUI and the Hideout, it happened nonstop.

I know Krogan has said it happens to him every now and then, is it happening to others here? I found a few of this same question on google, and one on Steam, but no one had replied to them. I'd like to stop the game from doing it, it's driving me crazy.

It used to happen to me, until I switched off the Steam UI. Turned it back on a few days later though and it worked fine. Don't know what I could have done to fix it.

Steam Forums claims it's normal in Bethesda games. I dunno, I tend to download them and get mad and turn them off. Going into compatibility view for TESV.exe and disabling visual themes supposedly will fix it for some, going to go try it now.

Never had that problem myself, but then I don't tab in and out of the game very often and I think I have in-game notifications disabled for Steam.

Hmm, I go into the Steam overlay all the time, and it's never happened to me. Odd.

Y'know, I've noticed a recurring pattern here, Middy...

...Why is it always you that has the most obscure, fucked up, buggy shit happen to them? Are you trying to play video games on a toaster? Toasters are not for video games.

(But seriously, sucks that you're having problems here, and typically run into buggy shit in almost anything you play. I can't remember the last time I had as much trouble with a game as you seem to on a regular basis.)

It may just seem like it since I download literally every game the day they come out. It didn't do it to me anymore yesterday after I disabled visual themes, and now I'm out of town on my laptop which doesn't have it installed =(

I honestly would kill to do that. Just two huge armies throwing themselves at each other and the Dovahkiin shouting Thalmar into nothing right in the middle.

I'm fairly sure if I was Dovahkiin and had just curbstomped Alduin, I'd be more interested in the hordes of bitches flocking to my crotch than the Thalmar.

Unless they got uppity with my Bitches.

    Shizzle.

I don't know. I'd imagine I'd be pretty much all bloodlust/fuck yeah, to the point it'd probably be a repeat of Kratos's rampage.

Creation Kit & Steam Workshop Preview

The Scene Editor is going to be amazing, the Dialogue Editor looks pretty damn streamlined and Steam Workshop seems slick. Now I really doubt that Nexus is going to hold out for very long.

Meh. I really fuckin' hope it does, because I don't even kind of want to dick with Steam for mods at the scale of FCOM.

EDIT: Which would be impossible anyway with the 1GB cap. Yeah, combine that with the fact that it's got a long standing community with a shit ton of combined knowledge, and TESNexus is going nowhere. Though I really, really hope that Planet Elder Scrolls dies.

Oh for fucks sake. Found my first major problem in solitude with the lights out mission.

So I turn off the fire in the lighthouse and I go to Jeera to talk to him and he attacks me.

Non stop. I cant even kill the bastard. wtf?

Did that. Turns out being a master of destruction magic and conjuration makes me a massacre machine. By the time I was done Skyrim's cities were filled with orphaned children and NPCs who wouldn't die.

When I go on a massacre it's sword and nothing else. There's something more terrifying about being trapped in a town with a madman on the loose knowing he's Dovahkiin and no matter what you do, you're going to die. Just a matter of when he finds you.

Skyrim is bringing out the worst in me. :|

I use my knives personally, madman with a sword loose in the town is scary. More or less invisible madman who could be three inches away and you'd never know and starts dropping people like flies without anyone getting so much as a glimpse of him is scarier.

Nah. Lighting people on fire while a Dremora Lord tears through the guards is way scarier, because you either die by a Daedra who has a fire sword or a mage who has fire that sticks to your body and the ground you walk on making every movement kill you a little faster. Not to mention leading guards up to high places and shouting their bodies out over the city.
