definitely one to wait on, it was waaay less during the sales I believe.

In other news, may soon be getting a REAL full time job above minimum pay, so I'll likely be dropping one hundred or so on all you fuckers.

I usually stick to Steam games and GOG.com sales, but this GamersGate sale is DRM free and close enough to a GOG sale at a very compelling price.

Dungeons & Dragons Anthology: The Master Collection £4.49/$5.99
    http://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-DBAMC/dungeons-and-dragons-anthology-the-master-collection

The same six games would cost you $56 on GOG.com right now. $50 if you dropped TToEE. $5.99 for the lot is a steal.

One thing to take into account is that Baldur's Gate 1 is going to be re-released in an "Enhanced" version later this year, though probably not DRM free and probably only on Beamdog.com.

Yes, it is, but they've only given us a date for BG1 Enhanced so far [Summer 2012]. BG2 Enhanced has been mentioned, but we don't know when it's coming yet.

edit: I should mention that BG1&2 Enhanced are being made by Beamdog, a company which sells digital games, and you are almost certainly going to have to buy the remakes through Beamdog and install their client software when you want to play the games. That's what they did when they made MDK2 HD.

Beamdog are trying to be like Steam while attracting old school gamers [adults with adult wallets] with remakes of their favourite golden games. It's an interesting strategy, they're targeting a market niche which Valve/Steam have largely ignored, but I'm not sure that I want yet another games library. I've already got Steam and GOG for my DRM and DRM-free games. If a game doesn't appear on either service, then I've been happy to ignore it so far.

I've always wanted to play the Baldur games- I tried once, but the graphics were just bad enough that I ended up getting distracted. I'll probably end up buying these remakes.

The sale's over. I'd argue that $20 is still a very good price. I waited for a year for GOG to have a 50% off sale on D&D games just so that I could buy BG1&2 and ID1&2 for $20.

Indie Gala is ending in a few days. You should get it just for Fortix 2. That alone is worth a dollar or two. http://www.indiegala.com/

There was some talk of a Summer Santa, but I'm not sure how serious Mid was.

Also, did anyone else get coupons today? I just received 3 for no apparent reason.

I received 3 identical coupons for 50% off Assassin's Creed Revelations. Valid only until April 1st.

edit: These coupons have been received by a lot of Steam users, seemingly at random. The three coupons I've seen mentioned are:

    50% off Assassin's Creed Revelations
66% off Might & Magic Clash of Heroes
??% off Might & Magic Heroes VI

The number of vouchers varied. At least one fellow ended up with 10 vouchers [8 x AC:R and 2 x M&M], and others with none.
