    Out of nowhere that reminded me of Dahl's My Uncle Oswald. He used to have a preference for spider silk ties made out of the silk he himself harnessed from that spider greenhouse of his.

    That's a game I'd like to play! With the option to kill her at the end and multiple good, bad or ambigous decision in between and beautiful, colourful scenery.

    /weeps for this gen games. ;.;

    That's perfect as it is. A game would have too much freedom, a movie would have too many words and explaning what's happening.
    This is perfect, no words, no explanation, no excuses, just a hero. The pinnacle of show, not tell.

    I think it would work as a five minute animated movie. No dialogue, just epic music in the background.

    Reminds me of this (might have been posted already, but a whole while back, so I don't feel bad)

    There's not enough works that can get at the real heart of the heroic ideal like that, without getting sidetracked, either by exposition or cynicism. I wish there were more. It feels like everything out there is just mindless 'kill bad guys with awesome powers in cool places'. The aspect of self-realization is almost completely ignored.

    It was posted here before - and a colored (though smaller) version instead of the black-and-white. I doubt anyone would begrudge me for re-posting it, however:

    Amazing set of photos. The guy on the tube (subway) makes me want to well up, the panda on a plane and the cat and dog looking at each other make me smile, the old dude in a hospital bed with his grandchild steals away the fear of ageing and the soldier with his kids makes me feel great respect and admiration for soldiers and their families when actually Im usually quite cold and cynical about what their doing (from a UK press point of view that is)
