This is what I've gotten just in the last 3 months Yeah I was serious. if they have a huge sale in the summer, we're going to either go again, or everyone pledge to buy shit for Christmas. 10 bucks a month goes a long way if you catch good sales. And no coupons for me =(

Are these coupons completely random? I don't think I've ever gotten one and I've been using steam for a longggg longgg time and bought many games.

They seemed pretty random at first blush. Dunno if Steam or Ubisoft has commented about it.

It isn't just limited to Ubisoft - I just received a 75% EVE Online coupon. Maybe there's a sale coming up?

Beware King's Quest Collection unless you have an old XP 32-bit or Win2k machine to run them on.

Invisible War isn't worth playing, but I picked up a few copies of HR.

Also, check here, http://www.steamgamesales.com/ it'll show you sales for other sites, for games that are activated via steam. I've found a few good deals on there already.

So, anyone picking up Dungeon Siege today? I remember playing the 2nd one a lot with some cousins years back, but I never played the newest to know if it's worth it...

3 is worth pirating for a quick play through, but not worth paying over 15$ for imho. There's some decent lore there, but I didn't enjoy it very much for some reason.

Shit at 8 bucks, get it, you'll get your money worth if you like that style game.

It's back. The D&D Anthology: The Master Collection for $20.00 $6.79USD on Impulse. I've never recc'ed an Impulse game before, but according to this Reddit thread, these games seem to be DRM free. You use Impulse only to download the games and then never have to use it again.

    Impulse D&D Sale: http://impulsedriven.com/explore/games/special

The Dungeons & Dragons Anthology: The Master Collection $6.79
    • Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 + Expansions [Average Metacritic: 91%]
    • Icewind Dale 1 & 2 + Expansions [Average Metacritic 85%]
    • Planescape: Torment [Metacritic 91%]
    • The Temple of Elemental Evil [Metacritic 71%]

D&D Anthology: Neverwinter Nights Complete $7.49
    • Neverwinter Nights + 3 Expansion Packs [Metacritic 91%]
    • Neverwinter Nights 2 + 3 Expansions Packs [Metacritic 82%]

The Dungeons & Dragons Anthology: The Master Collection is available for just $5 from Atari.com, but it sounds like a very dangerous site to buy from. If the Reddit thread is to be believed, then Atari seem to hate their customers.

That wasn't the only poster with Atari/DigitalRiver concerns. It sounds like the extra dollar eighty for Impulse is a wise choice.

Trine is on sale for $2 dollars this weekend and Trine 2 is on sale for 7.50. You should definitely get Trine if you haven't played. It's an amazing game. http://store.steampowered.com/app/35720/

For some reason I would rather have it through steam then drm free. With all of the indie game bundle sales and amazing holiday steam sales, I have a decent steam library, so I would personally just use steam to organize everything.

None of those games are available on Steam.

I largely agree with you, which is why I have two game libraries: GOG and Steam. Steam is for 99% of my games, and GOG is for the games which Steam doesn't have. Also, GOG handle old games better than Steam do. They pay the creators to make patches so that the old games will work with new systems. Steam doesn't or can't do that, perhaps due to scale or game publishers. More than once I've been unable to get old Steam games working properly. In comparison, GOG are frequently improving the OS compatibility of their games.

The two digital libraries complement each other, but Steam definitely has precedence on my system. There is some comfort with GOG games that they'll work no matter what natural disaster has taken down the phone lines this time [storm tides, flooding, or tropical cyclones, typically], but Steam is so easy.

I use just Steam and GamersGate, primarily to take advantage of occasional sales on GG when they're more expensive on Steam.
