Plentiful Paradox Package from Amazon - 5 PC Games for $12.49

    1. Crusader Kings II $9.99
    2. Magicka Collection $4.99
    3. Magicka: The Stars Are Left DLC $5.99
    4. Sword of the Stars II: Lords of Winter $7.49
    5. Swords of the Star - Complete Collection $4.99
    6. Victoria II $10.18

#1-4 will all activate on Steam. #5-6 do not. The deal is worth it for the first four alone.

The Amazon page says that you have to be a US resident, but just use a fake US billing address when purchasing to get around that.

So, apparently steam is watching DLP and supports the secret santa. S'all I can think of. Randomly got on steam earlier to find a new notice. You has new stuffz! Thought it would be another annoying coupon for shit I don't want.

Turns out it was L.A. Noir. Not a coupon, the actual game. Sooo needless to say, there shall be a Valve contributed copy for the giveaway. D:

Humble Indie Bundle number 5 is up.
Bastion, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Psychonauts, LIMBO, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP

Bastion and Psychonauts are both amazing games. You need to donate at least a dollar to get a steam key, and you need to beat the average price to get Bastion. You should immediately get this bundle. It is probably the best one they have had.

If you for some reason have Steam and haven't signed in yet, Saints Row 3 is 66% off with Steam's Weekend Deal this week.

    17USD, folks.

Could be just the fact that you own every other game in Steam already and they gave you a freebie? lol. I didn't get anything, but I've bought a hundred or two worth of games lately =(

LOL yeah. Ive got two hundred in gift purchases alone. Ive got one or two other games with a free copy for friends kind of thing... Preorder of Torchlight II 4pack comes to mind...

But then, maybe its just because I'm cooler than you and Steam loves me more. Ha.

*Looks at his $1600 worth of games on his steam account.*

They never give me anything, not even during the Christmas gift thing.

Torchlight 1 was awesome. I didn't think I'd like yet another Diablo 2 style game [I've tried a bunch of 'em, both indie and non], and my pile of shame is huuuuge. I have heaps of games waiting to be played, or that I gave up on, but Torchlight was fun to play from the first moment and it never stopped being fun. I played it straight from beginning to end with my only regret being that it finished too soon.

If you haven't played Torchlight, it's worth a go. I like gaming, but I'm not very good at it. Give me a shotgun in TF2 and I'll go the whole round without killing anyone because I couldn't hit the side of a barn with my aim. Twitch skills and perfect aim aren't required here. Torchlight was a blast to play and kept me going right to the end.

I played Torchlight on all 3 characters, then modded the immortal hell out of it, into an entirely new game, and then played the shit out of it even more. It's just that good.

Well, that certainly sounds fun, but I always feel awkward accepting stuff from people I don't really know well :p
Besides, I'm not sure if I ever got around to posting my steam profile in the gamertags thread... I should go do that.

If you payed money for it no, the mechanics behind it were solid and it was pretty but it was retardedly long and you basically did the exact same damn thing over and over and over again ad infinitum until your brain starts dripping out of your ears from sheer boredom.

Bought the humble indie bundle and got a Bastion code on top of the rest, but already have Bastion. Accidentally entered it instead of the other code into steam, but should still work.

Drop a PM if you want it.

    Edit: Taken.

But at $2.49 it's worth it for the first 5 hours or so [play until you get bored]. It's the only FPS I've played in the African savanna. I have a lot of good memories from it. The opening drive down a dirt road through a variety of environments. The first shithole tin shack town you come to. Sneaking down a long, meandering river and its tributaries in a little puttputt boat past enemy militias and bridges. Good times.
