I personally find that the higher you are in the skill bracket, the less ragers there are.

So the solution is to play a lot and get better at the game.

 

When I last played I had a hard time differentiating this vs. HON because they both appeal to the same kind of MOBA (when did that even come from? The first game of this style I played was Aeon of Strife in the WC3 custom engine) player. I guess it will boil down to hero selection and features.

On topic, who plays regularly at this point? A bunch of people seem to have obtained keys now, so lets get a head count!

 

Damn it, I've been trying to find a key for my friend ever since Awesomesauce was kind enough to gift me one. Those things are fucking hard to find.

Anyway, who is still playing this? I haven't had a chance to really get into it lately, but I think I might.

You can actually buy keys on the store for $40 now, incidentally.

 

I have literally never been able to play a game of this in the entire time i've been in beta. A game will never start, ever.

 

How long have you waited for a game to start? Your first few games could take upwards of 10 minutes if you're on less populated servers. If you're waiting 15 or 20 you should take the issue to the development forums.

 

If anyone still has a beta key over I'd be immensely grateful for one, I can't be arsed to put 40$ for a game that'll be free when it releases when I'm already playing HoN. Nonetheless, based on what I've seen from the DH streams this game is looking really good.

You can buy Dota 2 items and trade them for keys in-game. If you know somebody who can watch the trade chat channels and connect you with someone who has a key.

One of my friends bought a 8.99 Courier, and I gave him the name of someone who wanted to trade a courier for a key.

I got another friend into the game by buying two 2.50 Treasure keys and trading them for a Dota key.

There are ways to buy a key without paying 40$ for one. I've found that just searching for one is extremely difficult.

You might even try this link if you're not in contact with someone that's actively playing. I'm not sure how good it is, but there looks to be quite a few people in the group.
