New One Piece.

Is it just me, or did the quality... slip, this week? Normally One Piece is boss, but the events happening here felt off.

Oh, and we've got a break next week.

 

I think its you, I mean how exactly was it off, you have Luffy just basically playing around with CC which as it seems is a mistake on his part. We have a little bit more of an understanding of Monet and we have a potential new character appearing.

 

New chapter's out and Law is on the back foot and the samurai has hidden techniques other than making clothes appear from nowhere.

I thought it was pretty weak last week, but it is back on form this week. Not terribly surprised Law used to be associated with Doflamingo seeing as the Heart pirates have a similar pirate flag to the Bellamy pirates.

Giving him Joker as an alias is brave though, that is a lot to live up to.

Also, is it being implied that Joker is one of the Four Emperors? Or is he an even bigger fish than that?

 

Law's ability is to create a spherical space. Inside of that bubble, he controls the placement and orientation of everything.


I don't think Joker's one of the Four Emperors. As far as I know, he's simply a Shichibukai.

 

Saying Doflamingo is simply a Shichibukai is not quite right but then again Shichibukai is a vague label at best. It goes from small time pirates like Crocodile who merely attempt to acquire weapons of mass destruction and destroy a country as collateral to big fish like Doflamingo.

He's the boss of the criminal underground in One Piece, he supplies SAD to Big Mom, he receives orders someone higher placed in the World Government than Sengoku and chooses whether he wants to obey them or not, and he had a mole in the Marines as highly placed as Vergo.

He may or may not be the strongest Shichibukai (Mihawk?) but he's certainly the most influential. But he's definitely strong, the fact that he could toy with Jozu is proof of that.
