For some reason, the person who made that, HoS, excluded Draco Malfoy's pic.

Was Malfoy's post-Hogwarts career ever given? Him being a Healer would actually be interesting.

I doubt he could pull off a passing grade on bedside manner.

That's the problem with all five captures.

Clearly Aurors should wear battle robes.

It is aggravating though. Healers wear green robes, and Aurors have purple ones. Yet, in the movie their clothes are so utterly muggle.

Yes, but House was a genius. Malfoy spent a year trying to fix a cabinet, after five years of the kind of mediocrity and brown-nosing that would make House want to spit in his face.

We never saw Malfoy use any healing/medical magic. Could be he never even tried, but that might be where his talent lies. For all we know he could be a savant, lacking in almost every other area but that one. It'd certainly be ironic.

The brown-nosing and everything still applies, but there's nothing saying he couldn't try to reverse that after the books. He's only seventeen where we leave him off, besides the barest glimpse of him in an epilogue that people tend to ignore anyway. He's got loads of time to grow up.

I doubt that he's really a Healer in canon (I doubt Rowling even thought about what he'd be doing), but I for one think it'd be interesting to see in a fic.

That's one of the things about fanon I've always hated- Malfoy's lack of talent. Canon has him casting Serpensortia, a conjuration spell normally taught to sixth years, as a second year. And as for brown-nosing... the kid had to live with fucking Voldemort since he was fourteen. You know, the guy who's known to Crucio his subordinates on a whim? I don't know about you, but I'd be doing my damndest to make sure that fucker wasn't upset with me, and you can see that even just after the summer of Voldemort's return he's a nervous wreck by the time he makes it back to Hogwarts.

In the end his only real fault was being to much of a chicken shit to defect, though even that was also explained in, arguably the Malfoy family as a whole's only redeeming feature, the genuine love they felt for each other with each of them supporting the Dark Lord to keep the others safe.

As much as I despise Draco, I have to upvote this post (tomorrow, I'm out tonight) for making a salient and little-heard point.

    Sauce?

That does nothing to excuse the way he expected everyone to love him/obey him strictly because he was a Malfoy, both before and after Voldemort's return. He only got scared when it was time for him to do the killing. This is the kid who shouts "You'll be next Mudbloods!" at twelve, remember? No one's there making sure he's a little Death Eater shit so they can report back to Voldemort, they think he's dead and no one's there but teachers and students, oh and Snape, who for all Lucius knows, is a traitor.

I wasn't talking about the way he sucked up to Voldemort, so much as the way he over-enjoys Snape's terrible treatment of other students, ingratiates himself with Umbridge, of all people, and panders to Slughorn. And that's just brown-nosing.

And it's not like he didn't want to do what Voldemort said at first. It wasn't just to save his family until the very end, when it was getting down to the wire. It was only at the end that it was really about that. When he was boasting on the train, breaking Harry's nose, enslaving Katie and Rosmerta, poisoning Ron, threatening Borgin, and rejecting Snape, that's all him being the evil little shit he is. He doesn't start crying about it until he begins to fail. Oh, and he tries to torture Harry for discovering him crying.

When Snape tries to help, he says no because he wants all the glory for himself. Even when his family's on the line, he won't give up his childish pride, even if it means success.

So many more faults than that. He had so many chances to redeem himself, and he bitched out each and every time until Harry had to save him from Fiendfyre that should have fried his ass.
