Dude. So many damn feels.

 

It's a loop. Guy in the last panel is the same guy as in first panel. Circle of life thing.

 

I get that. I can see the story unfold through five generations and then work its way back to the beginning, but whatever emotional connection people are getting out of it, I don't. I feel like I'm only seeing 80% of what other people are seeing in it, and that last 20% must be the key.

 

Behold, your salvation!

 

Ah that, yeah I don't get it either. Thought it was interesting, but that's about it.

 

I can't speak for anyone else, of course, but what I got from it was that you don't know any person's backstory, you don't know why they do what they do, so you shouldn't jump to judging them.

In the beginning, the man is like "ugh, some people" at that gangster guy who cusses at him. Then at the end of the comic, that same man is the father at a bar, he goes out and HE is the asshole saying "What the fuck are you looking at?"

It's pretty well crafted, IMO, the different threads weaving together. It didn't give me huge feels, but it certainly did make me think.

Oi. First that shitty dream inspired by Evangelion keeping me up at 3 in the morning, now you two dropping hammer blows - seriously, that link was terrible.
