Publishers control the pricing on Steam ordinarily, which would make it Disney's fault. I'm not sure if that's true during sales though.

Why not just ask an American to buy it for you and pay them back? :p

I don't think the seasons pass is region locked...

Good sale on Bethsada games at GamersGate. http://www.gamersgate.com/publisher/110/bethesda

Dishonored and Skyrim are both $15. Fallout 3 games have decent sales too. Unfortunately there does not seem to be dlc on sale. But if you don't have Dishonored, you should pick it up. This is a really good price. Inputting this coupon: elder-geek.com should give you an additional 5% off.

If anyone needs anything from Gamersgate, pm me. I can buy it for you for 15% off, since I still have that permanent discount.

Also still have a copy or two of BL2 if anyone didn't get one from Gamersgate during that sale. Pm me to talk trade and all that.

I've got three coupons for 75% off Shogun 2: Total War, which means ten bucks for Aussies, $7.50 for yanks, €7.50 for Yuropeens and £6.25 for Brits. Discount applies to base game only, as far as I can tell. Hit me up on Steam if you want them.

    I signed up.

    I got in.

I made £4 selling the additional invites on the Steam Marketplace.

Pretty sure that's as much as I'll ever do with this system. I don't want to install Dota 2 or Team Fortress 2 ever again. Trading cards, badges, profile images and the lure of unlockable emoticons aren't doing a whole lot to change my mind.

I know Gabe's said previously that he'd like to sell games at a price point specific to each person. So, if you were respected in the community, or your friends bought games based on your recommendation or simply because you were playing them, or you're a valued partner in multiplayer or co-op games, etc. then you'd buy games at cheaper prices because you're a more valued player.

This trading cards and steam levels thing seems to have long term aspirations. It's possible that it's pointing towards that future pricing idea which Gabe's discussed. I'm drawing a very long bow here, but my suspicion is based on this:

So the trading cards might be nothing now, but this Steam levels system which it's kicking off at the same time could become a much bigger deal.

The Total War games are also on sale on Amazon right now. Many of the deals are only for today though.

Speaking of Total War, I just got a 75% off coupon for Shogun 2 on Steam if anyone wants it.

Free Steam codes for Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3.

First come, first served, until they run out of codes. http://penny-arcade.com/static/rainslick-giveaway

The page uses Recaptcha to prove you're human. I had to open an Incognito window in Chrome to get the captcha to appear.

edit: If anyone misses out, I've got a spare code. PM me.
