I believe Marty McFly and Ghostbuster Peter Venkman are standing behind Raphael. Plus Dream of the Endless, the Iron Giant, the Crow and wayyy in the back could very well be Malcolm Reynolds. We can spare a few pixels for the gimp.

...there's a SuperBatman in the very back.

    And Spike from Cowboy Bebop?

Did the artist decide to just throw in a hodgepodge of cool characters?

Mine barely qualify as eyes because it took 3 instances of seeing that picture before I spotted Harry Fuckin' Potter next the Thing, and Dream of the Endless.

Ghost Story is the one closest to me... let's see, first full sentence on page 45.
Stuart let out a bellow and threw the knife.
Well, seems like I won't be bored at least. I hope Stuart is hot! :awesome

"Carlindi Station was established in 1906."

I'm going to be trolling nursing homes for action. Or time travelling. Anyone got a grandma born in 1906 who was hot to trot back in the day?

I kid you not, Fenraellis will back me up:

Most disconcerting was the teacher who had the students put their hands behind their backs when they were lined up to leave and said, "Remember this position because this is what it will be like in prison."

A book on the classroom setting and how it should be approached as a teacher. But this is what I get. The. Fucking. Odds.

"Arthur, in his courtly travels far and wide, did fall in love with Guinevere."

That probably doesn't imply it working out in the end.

    Dang.

"He was much better acquainted with the fate of a tribe of first cousins who had wandered away north in a diversionary movement and pushed inadvertently into Canada"

Catch-22 was the closest, I didn't really know what to expect.
