The only downside to this is that Shadow stalker is still fucking alive and as shitty as ever. I really wonder why Wildbow likes the character, she should have died from being overused by Taylor somehow.

I liked Imp and the other kids, kind of wish we could see more of her and I actually think she can carry a story by herself now. Now to see what Lisa and Rachel are up to.

Didn't like Imp and the Heartbreaker kids interactions at all. Dialogue was stilted, they felt like copies of Regent; there wasn't anything different about them.

While Imp does have a pretty powerful power there a bunch of people who can counter her-- Tattletale (who can usually remember something about her), Glaistig, Contessa, other precogs who presumably will not remember her but integrate her into plans, Dragon, and anyone with some separation between their physical body and interactions with Imp. That's not too say she isn't strong-- just she's probably not top dog.

I got the impression that that was the point. These aren't exactly normal kids, and their interactions are supposed to be more than a little dysfunctional.

Dysfunctional is not equivalent to stilted. Riley and Jack interacting was done well, and was clearly dysfunctional. This is isn't.

Riley and Jack had social skills. These kids/Aisha did not. Either way, I enjoyed it.

What the hell is Shadow Stalker's day job at this point? Or does she just creep around being creepy? This chapter doesn't seem to imply that she's signed on with anyone, and while Aisha and her minions probably have all the support they need from Tattletale, who the hell is putting up Sophia the bitch?

She's probably doing her own thing. She's fairly safe from threats because the only thing that can really hurt her, if she's had any warning, is electricity. So she could hole up somewhere, hunting down people she doesn't like and stealing things when she needs them. She'd make a decent burglar, given her ability to walk through walls and all.

That's a pretty shitty day to day, but then again I never expected her to try to make anything of herself, so I suppose it works.

I still can't get over the fact that she even survived Scion.

I'm glad she did, I think she's my favorite. Top 3, easy.

Really, why do you like her(and please don't say its because of her shitty world views)?

    ...

Uh, we were talking about Shadow Stalker, not Imp.

    Yeahhhh, woops.

In that case, no. No I am not particularly glad that she survived all this time.

Eh, I just see her as the minor recurring villain that will make life difficult for the protagonist of the sequel (if it gets made). She's an annoyance, but she's well fleshed out and (more importantly) she's meant to be hated. She's not a likeable character, which is why I'm glad she survived. If there is a sequel I want to see her get a more personal kind of death. Possibly from Brian or Aisha.

tl;dr Y'all need to stop taking her character so personally.

Wow, I was real worried there for a bit. I was not expecting it to end well, but I'm really glad it did.

Oh thank god. Of all the capes we've seen so far, Dragon is the one who most deserved her happy ending after all the crap she's been put through.

I'll be honest, I don't think I could have taken a bad end for Dragon xD

So, yeah, really, really happy that she was freed, even if it was due to the sacrifice of Pandora. Glad to see that she can live her free and happy life now, with revenge on Teacher some time in the future.

You know you're reading about a great character when it gets to the end and you're genuinely afraid she's going to die. Phew.
