I've noticed we don't have too many Firefly fics in the Library so I decided to do something about it. This serial is basically writer's idea for season two. He ignored a few things that were revealed in the movie, most noticeably, River is not a ninja, just a psychic (and often psychotic) genius. The whole thing is revolving around characters, their interaction and personal drama. There is no bigger story here or some great adventure, just everyday life on Serenity we saw on the show (although that's hardly uneventful). What makes this the best Firefly story I've read is writer's ability to add new layers to the crew's personalities and still somehow keeping them in character. Also, what he did with their past and connection to the present is simply astonishing. Read it, you won't regret it. Peace out.
