    I was really hoping for Ejiofor, but this is fine with me. An older, serious Doctor will be a refreshing change.

    That... OK, yeah, that would be pretty awesome. It's a pity 8½'s story will probably be over and done with after the 50th and the regen into 12 won't happen until Christmas. Then again, wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey... stuff. If they're involving past Doctors, why not future Doctors?

    So, the 23rd November is officially the Day of the Doctor.

    Link also contains details of the various other shows the BBC is doing to celebrate; they all sound cool, but I'm disappointed the actual special is only going to be 75 minutes long. It seems a little brief, but we'll see.

    So, the BBC Spain Facebook page apparently leaked the trailer a day early...linky link. The official release is tomorrow night (9th November), but this is certainly worth a look.

    I was just writing about this, but refreshed site before posting.

    There is a rumor that Hurt's not-Doctor would be 9th Doctor if Eccleston wanted to reprise this role and after watching the trailer I think it's most likely true.

    I don't what to feel, there is a large part of me that doesn't want to see the Time war because I'm afraid of either being disappointed pr underwhelmed by it.

    Also, boo to rose's bad wolf coming back, didn't like it before won't like it now.

    EDIT: While my thoughts on Rose are that she's an essentially fine character with too much exposure, if, as the trailer might imply
    timey wimey shenanigans lead to her showing the Doctor the Moment, thus bringing about the end of the Time War
    , then I shall be very put out.
