She's a dumb girl being dumb on the internet about a touchy subject in society. The result was that she probably got marched into the police station by her guardian where she'll likely get a slap on the wrist because she's a minor.

Ridiculously stupid series of events? Yes.
Manufactured political/attention whoring act? Not a chance.

 

The media circus around it is completely manufactured, there is no real terrorism threat from her nor a point in fixating on her as pointed out in the article.

 

Perhaps this should be moved to the politics forum.

Obviously, I don't believe she's a terrorist, but her stupidity is astounding and she needs to understand this is not ok. I have no problem with what was done being called an arrest because the police chief declared it such once she turned herself in.

The circus will go away on its own.
