Congrats on Legend buddy! That pretty amazing. The only other person I know to get legend is my friend Sasha, and he is a semi pro MTG player as well.

 

I finished the Arena today, went 12-1. Lost to a Shaman with windfury + rockbiter into Reckless Rocketeer. And my Bomber hit my Twilight Drake twice, so it died to his Forked Lightning. That was prime bullshit.

Thanks, the grind was real. I was at Rank 1, 4 stars then dropped to Rank 3...twice. I was really bitchy the last couple nights lol.

Won with Midrange Hunter (rank 1), Ramp Druid (back to rank 1), and finally Handlock (got 4 hunters in a row that set me back to Rank 1, 1 star >.>). Beat a bunch of Druids, Rogues, and Warriors to get Legend.

All in all, I think about 190 wins or so? I didn't keep track of my winrate.

 

Blizzard has announced two new class cards that will be released in the Naxxramas adventure mode.

So far these cards synergize well with the deathrattle theme that is prevalent in Naxxramas.

 

Man, I'd almost guarantee that Avenge will be adjusted to something like +2/+1. Either before release, or soon after they realize how broken it is.

5 stats for 1 mana is pretty ridiculous.

 

Well, it can only trigger on your opponent's turn, so at least he'd be able to work around it, but yeah, +3/+2 is probably too much.

 

Looks interesting, but pally aggro isn't really the best deck. Maybe the new cards will give it enough of a boost, but it's all speculation at this point.

I highly recommend miracle rogue on the ladder these days by the way. It has a really good matchup vs the midrange hunters everyone is running.

 

Psh... it's all about that Malygos miracle now.

 

This would suggest otherwise. If I had a malygos I would probably give it a shot though. It's on my to-craft list, but I'm a bit short on dust right now.

 

While miracle is still prominent, a new season = new shift in Meta.

The Malygos miracle is pretty badass. I just played a P2W noob @ rank 19 with it and had he actually played the deck the correct way than he would have won.

I got pretty good value out of the sylvanas, but I don't think it would have mattered either way. The game I lost I played blizzard, flamestrike, blizzard, fireball+polymorph, blizzard on 5 consecutive turns. And was behind on card advantage after that... fucking pally drew so many cards it was ridiculous.

That value is pretty crazy. Still not sure if it has a place in Tempo or Miracle Rogue though.

 

God, I hope we never get to the point where Blizzard designs cards to go with deck types, that would be ridiculous.


These Naxx cards seem strange, they'll certainly shake things up. Hopefully in a good way. Arena's gonna get pretty crazy.

 

Care looks incredibly broken. Imagine Ambusher into argus, then you get the argus back.
