I personally like the Vampire skills a lot better, but their damage runs off physical attacking power and not magical (aside from the -aja spells, which are too MP costly to be worth bothering with, as you'll be doing ridiculous damage with the much cheaper elemental skills assuming decent attack power), so comboing Vampire with a mage class isn't really the best way to go about getting the best out of either. Try Dark Knight/Vampire instead, which will allow you to drain back MP. The rest of your team seems fine, though I might branch Ringabel out a little more. Performer isn't really all that worthwhile outside of boss battles.

When I used Performer (Edea) in my first runthrough of the game, I eventually paired it with the Knight class and ran dual shields. If you're trying to use that character as a tank, that's the best way to go about it and Super Charge provides excellent damage dealing potential for when you're not singing.

 

I comboed Vampire with a mage class purely to take advantage of phantom weapon, since it adds the physical damage of a conventional attack onto the damage from the magic. I might see if pure magic can get to 9999 by itself later, which will impact how I decide to switch Edea up. I was mainly going to use Mimic to get around the cost of the -aja spells, since then I would only be using 99 mp per every 4 uses.

I paired performer with freelancer purely for bp purposes. My Hero plus 3 mimics equates to 4 bp gain for the rest of the party at the cost of 1 bp for Ringabel. That essentially allows me to brave 4 times for each member every turn with no cost whatsoever, since brave suit will cover the extra bp at the start and for that one turn sequence where Ringabel will be at -1. I don't use the performer for anything else but bp generation, since the usefulness of being able to brave 4 times consistently is too useful to pass up in my opinion.

 

I will definitely give the game this praise. The music and sound track for Bound by Flame was fucking fantastic.

Got gifted King Arthur - The Role-playing Wargame by a friend. Anyone played it before perhaps? Kind of curious to hear other people's opinions on it.

 

It has some great ideas behind it (a bit like a mix of a Total War game and an RPG) and the story is very interesting but the gameplay is its weak point. (Archers for example are extremely overpowered but there should be an an button in the menu to make them a bit weaker).
The series is also plagued by technical problems which never got really fixed.

 

Yeah, the gameplay isn't that good, but holy fuck, I love everything else. The chronicles, the quests, the heroes... I wish there was more information on them within the game itself (or I'm just blind and not being able to see it).

Playing as a Tyrant, with Old Faith, is just bloody lovely.

I really want to see more of Rime, FFXV, the order, destiny and whatever star wars games are ready to show.

Dunno, E3 seems more console-focused. PC stuff would be neat to see.

 

All I can think of offhand is Project Beast, assuming that doesn't turn out to be bullshit after all.

I'm definitely ready for more Dragon Age: Inquisition news.

 

I feel like we've seen everything we need to about it without spoiling plot.

Maybe seeing it run with lots of shit on screen will be nice.

 

Some info about the whole Dragon-keep/(not really) save game import thing would be nice.

Maybe some trailer for Star Wars:Battlefront 3 but other than that I have no pressing issues about E3.

I have higher hopes for the gamescom here in Germany, especially with me finally being able to visit it.
