... and today I went 10-3 (with one really stupid loss) with a mediocre Hunter (!) deck.

I have no idea what's going on with Arena anymore. I guess this is just anecdotal evidence and sometimes you get lucky.

But this deck had no weapons, no Scar, no Animal Companion and just one Unleash. Mostly the Houndmasters lined up just perfectly with the Raptors and the opponents played into Multi-Shot. Venture Co was also pretty effective this run.
(I had an Onyxia, but it was completely useless. I played it twice and both those games I lost.)

If anyone wants to look at my scoresheet, it's here. As you can see, I try to play with all classes equally to improve. If I wanted the highest win-rates, I would stick to my best classes, like Shaman.

 

Made my first legend last night before the reset. Feels good.

Congrats on the legend. Played many games? One of the reasons I don't try to get it again is that it just takes too long and I don't have the patience or will to play that much any more and the reward is nothing if you did it before. Rather play a game or 2 of arena.

 

Lopsided drafts are the best. Especially when they include four Truesilvers and two Boulderfists. Currently 8-1 with it, losing to a triple Water Elemental Mage.

-edit- 8-2 to a Scavenging Hyena I couldn't get to due to double taunt - Misha first, then Houndmaster on the Hyena itself (making it an 8/6).

 

I went against a Druid who played Ironbark, Ragnaros, Ironbark, Ironbark. I didn't draw a single one of my 3 Hexes in the first half of my deck. That is frustrating.

 

That's an understatement.

Went 9-3. MVP after the Truesilvers: BGH, which killed a coined Earth Elemental and a coined Venture Co, as well as a few other creatures with buff help. I'm really learning to appreciate that guy.

 

BGH is a dead card against most of my drafts. Due to unknown reasons I had 1 minion with 7 attack in the last 3 arena runs and I played it once, when I was bm'ing. Who needs big minions when you got 4 Unbound elementals, tons of overload cards and 3 hexes.

Mind tech, that's a card that saved me countless times and I always like to pick it. Though it's also the card that screwed me up quite a few times. Truthfully have mixed feelings about it.

 

I used it with Blessing of Might or Dark Iron Dwarf (had one of the latter) a few times. It's technically 2-for-1ing myself a bit in the first case, but the card advantage I had was pretty big, so I chose to retain the board control.

It was perhaps not the objectively best pick (BGH-Sword of Justice-Mountain Giant pick, and I already had my four Truesilvers at that point), but it fit the deck better. Given Paladin's lack of hard removal, he's decent.

 

Holy Frak!!! I finally managed 6 and 7 wins in Arena. I knew once I drafted Spectral Knight that today was the day.

That second picture is the first time I've legitimately seen Stoneskin in constructed. It's the only card, apart from Rivendare who's going to be better next week, from Naxx that I haven't seen in the past two days ranking around ranks 5-8.

 

That Equality ( my second) would have came in handy during last week's quarter but them the breaks.

The Druid also had Dancing Swords, Naturalize and Poison Seeds in their deck. If they wouldn't have played the first 2 then I wouldn't have drawn into the combo.

 

You guys should try worgen OTK warrior. Deck is a ton of fun, and actually does ok on ladder if you play it right.

 

And people were saying that the Baron would suck. Triple Sylvanas wants to have a chat.

To set up the above pic:

the Priest played Deathlord. I used the last charge on Doomhammer + Fire Ele to dispatch him. Deathlord puts Sylvanas into play, which allowed me to do the Baron + Ancestral Spirit + Reincarnate combo for 9 mana.

Sue me, I was too hyper and clicked through the 'you're a Legend now' screen. Second try vs Control Warrior after I got absolutely boned by an awesome Handlock start (T4 Mountain, T5 Faceless and me without any Hunter's Marks or Deadly Shots)

I tried some low budget paladin all-in aggro deck. But even though i've been playing casually since beta I don't have the ability to make all the cards. LOL.

 

I wonder why I have this funny feeling that Blizzard is trolling me in the Paladin Class Challenge.
