Ah is that what inspired this https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10607751/1/Monster-s-Life? I've got to check it out then.

Edit: Read up to day 65 or so. Kind of reads like a ridiculous self insert story though not really terrible. Author doesn't bother to explain all the abilities he gets which is annoying and the amount of high grade items he finds that seem perfectly suited for him and his companions is bullcrap.

Edit 2: Shield Hero is a decent enough story. As you said the people screwing him over don't seem to have a reason for doing so. Why didn't the girl just ask for more money in private instead of her bitchy scheming?

Uh, maybe? I tried to read that and couldn't. The Manga is infinitly superior to the light novel. For one thing, large chunks of the light novel seem to have been removed to make translation easier, because they served no purpose except for smut. The rate of progress is totally ridiculous, too. At this point, the leading theory is that

The entire thing is a dream the main character is having while in a coma. When you think about it, it makes a lot of sense in context.

I have no idea. I'm assuming there's a reason that will be explained later, I haven't read past the manga in the light novel version yet. So far, it doesn't make any sense, simply because

She didn't even need the money, she's the princess.

The Manga is far superior to the novel but I don't know if it's going to last unless massive changes are made to how the story develops.

He's ridiculously OP and he's barely even touched his End magic which seems to be his most powerful ability besides the absorption.

Is the Fullmetal Alchemist manga worth getting into for someone who has already watched Brotherhood?

Brotherhood was pretty close to the manga, really, really close. So much so that I am hardpressed to remember if there were any big deviations or things that were left out. There probably was some stuff but either way FMA is always worth a read, or a reread.

Just finished the Tower of God - I definitely recommend it. It feels very similar to HunterXHunter and the worldbuilding is incredibly immersive. The art might be clunky at first but it gets a lot better later on.

The best thing about it though is the complex plot that leaves you hooked.

I've returned (briefly) from my quest for glorious romanga, and I brought gifts!

    Girls of the Wild's
This is a huge and ongoing manhwa about a guy named Song Jae Gu who has just enrolled in Wild's High because they offered him a full scholarship. The reason they offered him a full scholarship was because up 'till now they've been an all girl's high school, and they're currently trying to transition into a co-ed high school.

Unfortunately for Song Jae Gu, he is the only male student, and his new school is bananas.

Basically, the manhwa is about Song Jae Gu's experiences in Wild's High, which is an elite martial arts school full to the brim with girls that have ridiculous fighting skills. The girl with the most ridiculous fighting skills is called Queen, and Song Jae Gu meets her early on and pretty quickly strikes up a... dynamic with her.

The story is about Song Jae Gu learning how to fight and confront his various fears- bullies, being weak, raising his younger siblings without his parents around, and so on. Probably my biggest gripe with the story is that it's massive (currently at 165 chapters) and ongoing, and it really doesn't need to be. There are tons of side plots that I feel take up way too much screen time, and at times I honestly don't think the romance between Song Jae Gu and Queen has been given the attention it deserves. However, it seems like that's going to change pretty soon, so fingers crossed!

All in all, I enjoyed reading this one. The art is beautiful for a manhwa, and the dynamic between the main couple is good enough to pull me through the side quests. Somewhere just above a 4/5, I'd say.

    Tasogare Otome x Amnesia
This is a heartwarming story about a dead girl's ghost and the one boy that can see her. It goes by a mystery of the week format, for the most part, as boy and girl try to figure out the details behind her death, and it's complete! There are a lot of gut-wrenching moments, and a couple parts that made me curse at the 2D manga people on my computer like a mature young adult, but mostly it's the ghost being cute and boy being an earnest japanese protagonist.

Gets a special boost just for the ending, which honestly surprised me in a great way. Smiles and happy times all around. Gets a 5/5 from me, easy.

So, I just finished the story today (or what's already been written). Found it hard to follow in a few places, but that could be my ignorance of anime (first time reading it, ever).

Characters got annoying at times, but they were also hilarious. Definitely worth spending a few hours reading if you have nothing else to do, and the artwork is pretty impressive. Just make sure it's read somewhere that the pages aren't cut off.

Girls of the Wilds and Tower of God were the two first manhwa I ever read, and they are really good. They convinced me to read a few others, which I will now recommend and Hope have not been posted/people like them.

Hellper is a very unique action/adventure type story about the leader of a peace-keeping gang who dies mysteriously and then gets involved with powerful beings in the afterlife. The art style is just fantastic, being mostly black and white in the afterlife and riotously colorful in the real world. Characters are big, interesting personalities and the action is good too.

The Girl From Class is simply drawn, with mostly lines and no color. But the story, about college guy who falls for a girl in his class, is interesting and the art style does suit the story. This ones is a drama so if you're not into that then real Hellper or the next one.

Distant Sky is a horror which I was pleasantly surprised to find in a manhwa. Art is a bit rough but perfect for creating an atmosphere. The story goes that a highschool kid wakes up in a destroyed Seoul which seems to have sunk underground and is infested with flesh eating bugs, hungry animals and crazed cannibals.

Also I dont know rules about links or which sites people prefer, but I think webtoons should be ok. Enjoy guys.

The Record of the Fallen Vampire is definitely something I'd recommend.

Thousands of years ago, Vampire King Akabara "Red Rose" Strauss lost both his kingdom and his queen. Since humans were unable to kill the queen, they sealed her away, erecting thousands of fake seals so that the king would never find her true location. Despite being pursued by relentless dhampires, Akabara continues to search for his queen to this day…

Akabara's quest takes a sinister turn when an entity called the Black Swan appears. The Black Swan inhabits the body of a young human girl every 50 years, giving her the power to destroy the Vampire King and his queen. With each incarnation the Black Swan grows stronger--will the 49th Black Swan mean the end of Akabara?

Lots of plot twist and tragedy.

BTW, how do you do that? Title only link to the site?

And Manhuas are chinese. I think they have pretty distinctive differences. Girls of the Wild's starts really well, the. The protagonist is thrown out, which could be nice since after beating Redhead he has no story, but the plot just start moving sooo slow. And the fights take forever. Then it get's interesting again, them they introduce the young kid that is the basically the protagonist but younger and devoid of anything interesting , so useless and boring, and now we're at an interesting point again. A real rollercoaster.

The Breaker and Threads of Time are my favourite manhwas, Breaker's sequel was just as good, but them it got repetitive, but still damn good, but now it's just annoying. The protagonist could be replaced by a blow up doll written Shonen Hero that it wouldn't make any difference. There is also Veritas, that is damn weird and confusing at times, but very awesome and original too, with interesting ideas.

Reading Girls of the Wild atm. Around chapter 120 or so. Plot is okay-ish. Kinda funny. Don't like everything there is to it, but it's mostly above average. I like the unique feeling each of the main cast has given me so far.

Edit: As mentioned, the snail-pace of the relationship (or lack thereof) is getting rather bland.

I have to say though, I usually don't much like the usual manga art of people, but holy shit Queen is hot. Like, :3 :3 :3 :3 levels of hot.

Edit: Finished it. Things seem to be wrapping up soon. Hopefully the conclusion won't be retarded.

And Manwhores is a certain member of DLP. I think we all know who. It had to be said.

Also, tried Noblesse. I felt icky reading it after the first few chapters. Too much...yaoi fanservice.

I actually read a very embarrassing amount of Noblesse before the yaoi got to me. I liked the cool fights and the art but the sheer amount of scantily clad boys and shallow secondary characters made only for looks just became unbearable.

Icky is just about the best word.
