Interesting, and the writing is decent. I also like the fact that Naruto isn't particularly likeable, it's a nice change of pace.

 

In canon, there is no "light" side or "light" magic, this is all fanon. There is only Dark Magic and other magic.

 

I've kinda got to wonder what a grey!Naruto would look like. I mean, he's literally an assassin for hire.

The only thing I can imagine in a grey Naruto is that he decides to kill Sasuke as opposed to not killing him. Also I have heard the term before but it usually revolves around "intelligent" Naruto fics.

I am sure you have heard of the term grey characters. You know the anti-hero types neither good nor bad. Its hardly something which is exclusive to the HP fandom and has little to do with light or dark magic. Moreover Narutoverse deals with a world that which has children fighting wars and working as assassins. If there ever was a world with grey characters its that one.
And I was hardly a dick here. A bit sarcastic yes! But hardly a dick after the gentleman actually swore at my recommendation.

Dude I went through this once. Just accept what they said and move on.

 

You'll note that he has a tendency to use the Talk no Jutsu whenever he can, instead of doing what most ninjas would, which is fight/kill.

For a ninja, he's remarkably diplomatic.

And yes, I know that Naruto has killed people, but he's a lot nicer than the average ninja you might encounter in Kishimoto's world.

 

The guy accused me of being a dick on WbA. None of the guys I have replied to have complained so far. So I was wondering where I was going wrong. But I realize this isn't the place to do it. So this is my last post on the subject.

Ah, my mistake. Wasn't a nameless mook; it was Yuura, the guy who Itachi was using as a fake body that Naruto killed with an Oodama Rasengan.

Then of course there was Asuma Pain, though there's the technical distinction between whether you can kill a dead person or not.

 

I thought Itachi had already killed Yuura and that's why he was able to use it as a fake body.

 

Wasn't he still alive but completely under his control during the shapeshifting jutsu?

 

DB says the target dies when the allocated chakra runs out, cancelling the jutsu. So he was alive at the time but his death was inevitable.
