Slughorn was using his regular wand to repair things alongside Dumbledore.

So the fact that it is the Elder Wand doesn't matter.

Was that not just in the movie tho? Not sure but seem to remember Dumbledore did it alone in the books.

Dumbledore did it alone in the movie. He did it with Slughorn in the books.

Is it known for how long the Black family owned Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place?

The Black Family Tree goes back to 1850; if you assume that the tapestry and the house are the same age then that's your date. Otherwise, no clue.

Was it ever implied / stated that harry stops using Dudley's hand me downs? Does he buy muggle clothes with the money his parents left him?

Order of the Phoenix starts with Harry laying out beneath a window in oversize clothes and trainers falling to pieces. I doubt he'd keep up the vagabond look just to help the Dursleys convince the neighbors that he was a hoodlum home from St. Brutus'.

Is 'Silencio' ever shown to do anything besides preventing the animal/human it is cast on from speaking?

In fanfiction it's constantly used to silence footsteps/apparition/etc., but is there any basis in canon for that?

Harry & Co. used it on animals in class, Hermione on a Death Eater in the DoM, and Rowle presumably to silence Hagrid at the end of DH. All humans or animals, so I think it's safe to say it works only on them. At least I don't remember a single instance where it was used to silence footsteps or apparation.

Also, Slughorn mentions using a Freezing Charm to counteract burglar alarms, for whatever reason that it would be better than a Silencing Charm.

In canon, is a wizard ever separated from their wand for any period of time beyond what it takes to perform a simple check on it? Of course, ignoring incarceration or illegal acts like stealing.

Harry during Deathly Hallows ring a bell? Of course, his was broken so maybe that doesn't answer the question. Also, Neville, whose wand was broken before he got a new one that fit him.

This, I'm guessing, is because the burglar alarms of the time period Harry Potter is set in were something like old school bells. Something like this:
Freeze it (not in the sense of freezing water, more akin to freezing someone in their tracks), and it won't ring.

I guess I wasn't very clear in my question. I was meaning more in terms of the attitude of the magical society towards wands.

It happens a lot in fanfics where people are asked to leave their wands out during certain gatheings. I was wondering if it had any basis in canon.

    It does not.

And I personally haven't seen it around a lot either, but I guess it could be -- it's something people are likely to think of; I made it up myself occasionally, e.g. like a "no wands at the table"-rule.

We know that the marauders were James's best friends but did canon say anything about Lily's friends? Was there anything about that in the photo album from Hagrid?

IIRC, there's nothing in canon that mentions Lily having any friends at Hogwarts other than Snape. I assume she had others, but I don't remember them being named in the books.
