Is it bad that I would love them as a couple? I think they would fit together well, if edged up quite a few years.

To be honest, this shows where the story is generally going to go. We should realize these five characters are safe, or are going to make the ultimate sacrifice at the end.

Plus... Jon's parents. Can it be anymore obvious now?

The whole thread has a spoiler warning. Nobody cares.

 

There's spoilers on everything written up until now/fan speculation based on crumbs like casting/whatever. And then there's a leaked supposed-early draft which contains potentially end-game spoilers for two books away.

There's a reason the first poster put it in spoilers, and so had the other reply.

 

I went to a screening of season 5 episode 1 today! It was pretty awesome, something like 4500-ish people there, which was a great experience, watching a new episode of the show with so many people...I had seen the last two episodes of season 4 in IMAX earlier this year, and I've been to a screening of the show before (for season 2, IIRC), but it was nothing like this.

There was a costume contest, too, and there was a Lyanna Stark with a very young Jon Snow, as you can see here:



They, of course, won the costume contest.

 

I hope that kid didn't actually watch a Game of Thrones episode.

I loved this chapter.

It’s an interesting chapter. I always enjoy Sansa/Alayne’s POV, and she’s gotten good character development, even though I think her snark is a tad abrupt. Maybe that’s just remnants of the five year time skip that was supposed to occur. We don’t actually know how much time has passed since her last chapter, but it must have a been more than a couple months.

Either way, everything seems calm, but I have a feeling things are about the hit the fan. Sweetrobin hates Harry and knows Alayne wants his favor, and that hedge knight who knows who Alayne is, is in the Vale. I’m really looking forward to the tourney.

Maybe it’s because it’s been a long time, but the writing was a tad weird this chapter? I mean, Alayne’s comment about Sweetrobin’s hair is exactly the same from two books ago.

 

Lol. Sansa. Honestly how is she still alive?

 

Loved it. Finally we get to see Harry the heir. Development of Harry Potter the Heir crossovers shattered.

 

So apparently there will be a big revealing twist in Winds of Winter that the show won't be able to do because of character divergences.

I wonder what it will be. Something with Jojen maybe?

 

Huh, apparently the first few episodes of the 5th season got leaked online. Fun times ahead.

 

AFAIK, first 4 eps are on HBO Go, so not 'leaked'.

 

I'm not familiar with what HBO Go is. Did they release the episodes intentionally then?

Well watched the four first episodes. Things are diverging from the books, I can say that much...

I'm so conflicted. On one hand, I got to see the first four episodes...on the other hand, I now have to wait an entire month to see what happens after that cliffhanger in episode 4...

 

Please, spoil away what happens in the 4 episodes and what's the cliffhanger.
