People Lie Hinata is about as far from canon Hinata as you can get, personality wise. Think of her less as a shrinking violet, more as a high priestess to the cult of Naruto.

You should rethink a lot if your criteria.

I mean, your criteria for stories is kind of similar to what a lot of us had when we first started reading Naruto/HP fics. It's just that after awhile, you realize that a lot of the stories that fit that criteria are... really bad, and pretty poorly written. The more you read, the more selective you'll become.

 

It's not so much the criteria as it is the stories associated with them. Nearly every single one I've read that fit those criteria end up with a harem for Naruto, Uzushiogakure revival, Konoha bashing, etc.

 

Well I know the fact that a lot of ff with those criteria are bad that's why I asked you if you knew some that were good

 

Many were good. None of them aged well though.

Just go read Patriot's Dawn. It's got a ruthless, driven Naruto, the Kyuubi makes him even more badass, and the fic is just really well written. Probably abandoned, though, or on a really long hiatus. And I just remembered that the original post in this thread was by the author, so maybe you've already read it.

 

I can't believe I forgot about Patriots Dawn. It's actually not abandoned. Inert updated it in the WBA in January.

On that note, Hurricane Suite is another excellent ruthless driven Naruto fic.

 

The fact is that I'm actually reading Patriot's Dawn and I finished Hurricane Suite two weeks ago lol

As for A few Spoken words I Dropped at the beginning because of the writing .

I got the feeling "Worth Dying For" is abandoned, but I agree it was a good fic.

 

I don't know about Evil/Assasin like, but I can give you a few fics that are a bit darker. Most are probably dead, though. Warning that most are old and may not have aged too well.

Myoushuu No Fuuin is great. Naruto is a bit deceptive, is more of a pickpocket and was basically a street urchin. Hasn't updated in a long time though, so that's a minus.

Dead And Gone, by Bleedndreamz, or really, anything by him. Consequences of an Honest Enemy is also a good read.

Nine Tailed Serpent, by LT2000

Signs isn't necessarily evil Naruto, though he is something of an enemy of Konoha.

Finally, if you want a couple more recent, actually competent Naruto, our very own, Eilyfe's Team 7's Ascension series is pretty good and the first book is complete. And then there's Shezza's Life in Konoha's Anbu, which is near completion last I checked.

 

According to the author's profile she's in the process of editing the next three chapters.

 

Literally everything. It's obvious that all of those are premises you like, and all of them together basically make for the worst kind of Naruto fanfics.

Get over it, and quickly.

Nah, he's just going though his fanfiction phases. Everyone has to do it at some point. He'll probably move onto shitty time travels fics after he gets tired of "evil" naruto.

 

Hell, I still enjoy the occasional timetravel fic, though I'm aware few of those are actually of good quality. But they do exist.
